My experience with Petsmart Grooming at this particular location was unfortunately terrible. Although I have frequented two times previously and have never been truly impressed, I have never had an experience like the one last night where I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth; a taste that will prevent me from having my dog groomed here EVER again in the future. We dropped our puppy off for a typical puppy bath and quick puppy trim. After over an hour of waiting we walked into the grooming department to evaluate the cause of the wait and were shocked at what we discovered. The groomer with an attitude basically informed us our puppy was "impossible" and that she just "didnt know what to do with him. He just wont let me do anything". There were many problems I saw with this encounter. Firstly, her wording was very unprofessional and she even went as far to make it seem as though our puppy was the most terrible puppy to have ever been through the doors by continually explaining how bad our puppy was. Secondly, we were there for over AN HOUR and WERE NEVER told about our puppy not tolerating the session. We could have attempted to calm him down, decide maybe this day wasnt the best day for him and take him back at a future date, or have stayed in the room if that would have helped. Instead, we were LEFT WAITING WITH NO UPDATE. It is important to mention that I am genuinely curious how long it would have been until the groomer decided to let us know of the "problem". We did not discover the situation through her notifying us, but rather by going into the room expecting him to be done. Instead, we discovered an unfinished puppy who had NOTHING DONE TO HIM IN AN HOURS TIME and were then informed. Needless to say the grooming department will never receive our business again and it may be some time until the actual store does in the future.

Their grooming department is terrible. I called ahead and made an appointment for my 5 month old puppy explaining that this will be his first haircut. I arrive on my schedule appointment time. One of the groomers greeted me and then asked how old my puppy was. I gave her a little background on my dog & explained what I wanted (a trim). I am then told that she believes the dog is too young & that she would not want him to be stressed being his first time...I proceeded to tell her that IT IS HIS FIRST TIME, REGARDLESS OF WHEN HE COMES HE WILL BE STRESSED. Trying to be kind & letting her know that her statement makes no sense. She then made another excuse as to why today wouldnt be a good day to groom my dog. Obviously they do not want to grow their clientele & gave me a horrible first impression on the type of service they provide. Very unfortunate as this is the first time that Ive ever seeked a pet grooming salon. I do NOT recommend this location to anyone!

The ladies that cut our German Shepherd puppys nails today were absolutely incredible. We first took her to another place (some hole in the wall) where her quick was cut on the first paw and she yelped and bit the woman, and then was smacked for it. She had no powder to put on her to stop the bleeding. She was given back to us with a paper towel, as she was bleeding pretty badly. She was immediately very aggressive with us if we tried to go near her paws. Luckily a month after that bad experience, we took her to PetSmart on Derry street. These ladies were so good with her. One was petting her and keeping her calm while the other quickly and professionally clipped the nails. We couldnt be happier or more thankful that we had a positive experience to undo the damage that was done previously.

Always very friendly when we go in with our two dogs. The staff is always willing to help you and have helped me bring large items out to my car many times when I had my dogs with me and was unable to do it myself. Used the groomers once without an appointment and they were able to squeeze us right in. Took them about 5 minutes to cut my large dogs nails. They have tons of random sales and you can find many items for under $5 if you look hard enough.

I just love animals :) Employees friendly. One star removed because they rarely have small animals anymore. The reason is ok...they need to find a supplier that is close enough to not traumatize the animals, but I miss seeing the guinea pigs or seeing many to choose from. But they have all the brands and types of supplies my guinea pig needs. I wish theyd offer more sales on guinea pig/small animal products and not just dogs and cats so much.

A "pet" based company that refused to help when a dog was loose in their parking lot. I was trying to help but they refused to take my dog in for his grooming appointment. I left with my dog and helped this poor lost dog be reunited with his owner. Dear "ladies in grooming shop may karma find you. I will never shop or step foot in this place again.

I visited their grooming center for the first time ever, I have rescued a Catahoula dog and a pug terrier mix and needed their nails trimmed. My dogs were abused and very fearful but the groomer was patient, gentle and she used a calming voice.I was very happy with my total experience with PetSmart Grooming Center.

Last time I took my dog there the groomers pissed me off. The one chick had no personality and when I picked up my my puppy she smelled worst than when I got there and they didnt cut her nails than the girl that supposedly groomed her acted like she was irritated with my dog. Do not go here!!

I went there looking for a small fish tank, but there was little information without having to ask an employee, who was already helping other customers. Nice selection of dog toys. The store is very large, spacious, and poorly lot.

I normally have a good experience when I come here. I do get crickets for my geckos and sometimes I have to wait for a while either in line or until an employee comes over to the cricket stand which is not near the cashiers.

We purchase most of our pet supplies here. I am often greeted by staff and asked if I need help with anything. We also use the grooming service here. We have scheduled with various groomers and have always been pleased.

While looking at items helpful for dogs with anxiety we began talking to a lady who also has a dog with anxiety...turns out she takes her dogs to the same kennel that we use.it was a very pleasant experience today.

Store is well stocked but service is somewhat non existent. If you are looking for help or info you better be ready to be on your own. I would not depend on them for help but you can depend on them for inventory.

Okay so there were so many dead goldfish at the bottom of the tank, and the cat chamber was too small I feel like it needs to be bigger so the cats can roam and have fun

We love PetSmart but the location is terrible. The parking lot is always filthy, the building looks like its falling apart. Wish they could find a better spot!
