The staff is friendly and helpful every time I visit. I purchased a Whites Tree Frog from them recently. About a week or so later, he seemed to be acting differently and not eating. I took him back to have them look at him and ask some questions. The cashier called someone over who was more knowledgeable about frogs than she was. He was very helpful, said the frog looked healthy and I just needed to raise my temps, and recommended a certain wattage for bulb. It worked, my frog is happy and eating. I also bought two leopard geckos a year ago and they are happy and healthy as well.

This is by far the worst pet store I have ever been to. The way their reptiles are kept is appalling. The temperatures and humidity were incredibly low for the species needs. The info cards for certain snakes were completely wrong. The card for a species of snake said that the snake would get 2-3 foot long, for a snake that would get nearly 7 feet. Very misinformative. I have notified many different members of staff, and they have no knowledge of snakes at all. Many of them are even afraid to handle them. It saddens me to see the innocent animals suffer like they do.

They are knowledgeable on saltwater fish tanks. I asked them a bunch of questions as I am new to the saltwater aqaurium hobby. They answered my questions above and beyond when I was expecting them to not even know. They hired people who are smart in the section they work in and I learned a lot even the I spent numerous hours online and in books trying to understand saltwater fish tanks. I appreciated it greatly and definitely wont go anywhere else because I was treated so well

OK to the one with the hamster its not PETCO fault that u dont know how to care for it and plus the vendor sometimes brings it in then people like u buy them the same day and if u knew how to Care for a hamster u would know that the move from place to place will cause stress and cause wet tail. Any petco or petsmart emp. Will tell u that not to mention the PETCO gets a new order of animal every week and petsmart only get them every two week so suck it

I purchased a hamster from here for my 8 year old sister and it died less than a week later. I complained to Petco and they replaced it. The second one died within a week as well. My sister is devastated. I will never buy another animal from this store ever again. They need to take better care of their animals.

Although Ive never bought an animal, I have had some very positive moments with the staff and in my overall experience. Im sorry that others have not done so well. Ive been going there for the past year and have liked it. Maybe we should give it another try.

I bought a ferret to replace one that passed away. The staff was extremely helpful with assisting me pick the right one. Im extremely thankful for their assistance and Im sure my other fur baby is too.

Sucks gave me a hamster that was sick and got a gift card to buy more stuff but did not ever want to go back There again and cant cash in there gift cards no where

Bought a Beta here and it died within 24 hours. When I called they said they dont cover bettas in their warranty. Also hard to find help in the store.
