So I used to really love this location. It was always well stocked and cleaned and people were super friendly. Lately over the past 6 months I would say their is only a select few staff members whom are actually friendly. I shop for feline, canine, reptile and aquatic stuff. I am pretty knowledgeable on what I need/want but sometimes I do have questions. Once I wanted to buy a bark collar for my dog (mind you he is a Belgian malinois) I know this breed probably better than staff their. He is trained, although barking I cant get under control. I asked a staff member which bark collar they would recommend one thats a basic starter one and the lady told me basically that she does not recommend any and that she doesnt like them. Okay I get you may not like them but for a working dog its gonna feel like nothing to him. Then when my dog was younger I bought a larger prong collar for when he got older. That same lady said this is the wrong size and you know thats super damaging to there trachea right expecially when they are growing. I told her its not for now its for later and I know how to properly train with prong collars. I dont feel like petsmart staff should be judging or making people feel bad. It wasnt like she asked if I knew how to use those it was like she was judging me for buying it. Well guess what at 7 month I used it on my dog and a very light tap/tug of the leash he slows down on walks he no longer pulls me to the ground. Reptile section, the super worms used to be healthy clean looking but lately they are dying and shedding and stink when you buy them and they upped the price on them. For a count of 50 superwoman you charge I think 5.99 or 6.99 eithe way I can go to Ever evolving exotics in tucson AZ and get 100 superwoman for 5.99. Talk about a deal. Also one time Igot a coupon that said if I bought 100ct superwoman I get 12 crickets free. I grabbed it off the bug stand where they always display them and the gal upfront kept trying to ring it up and said oh Im sorry its not working let me call the manager. (The cashier was friendly) the manager comes up and said oh its because its expired and starts ripping it up and was very rude about it. This was the same lady that was judging me for buying the other stuff. The cashier look apawled. After the manager left she was like I am so sorry. I told her it was okay she was not rude the manager was. I used to work retail and know customer service. If your at fault for leaving coupons up or discount tags up you must honor the price and your staff did not. I still shop their because it is close to me and thats where I get my dog good from but ideally I hate going to this specific location now.

I will never bring my dog here ever again. My husband and I both work full time and have brought our dog here often for puppy play time today for him to play. I went in to pick him up and I didnt see him playing with all the other dogs. I was informed that he was by himself in a kennel because he didnt get along with another dog. He has been going to dog parks for years and I have never had a problem but I was NEVER informed he has had to leave play time to switch out with another dog and I have ALWAYS paid full price. It is so infuriating to know hes spent half his day in a tiny dog cell when he couldve been sleeping on the couch all because the employees here are either too lazy to communicate an issue or too greedy. I am left wondering how many times he has been thrown in a kennel for half a day when I have been told and paying for a full day. These people do not have their act together and after seeing their lack of empathy and effort to communicate to resolve the issue, I would never trust my pet in their hands.

Get rid of Alex. He was so rude. Worked with him at Staples amd he was a jerk then. The manager switched over to Petsmart, which is why i shop there now. But Alex followed the manager and brought his nasty attitude over. An even exchange was all i was looking for. bought the dog nail trimmer there and he made it seem like i bought i somewhere else. He even told me he rememered me from Staples and that it was my problem that i couldnt provide a recipt. The other cashiers didnt seem to have a problem to exchange. So get rid of Alex. Hes not there to be professional.

Our dog has his rabies tag from Banfield which is in these stores...but apparently its worthless!! We wanted to get him groomed, but dont have the paperwork only the tag. They say they cant go by the tags the vet in their own store issued. So we would have to pay to give this 1 yr old puppy another rabies shot when he just had one at their store a few weeks ago. Yet every other groomer can verify the tag. Ridiculous and I will never shop at this store again anywhere. If they dont trust the vets they make money off of .... I dont trust their company.

Waited almost 20 minutes and basically got no costumer service. Asked 2 of the employees if they could get someone to help to get one of the dog crates down from the high wall for me. Both said they would send someone over right away but in 20 minutes 4 or 5 employees passed by and nobody was able to help me. I would understand if the store was busy but it seemed to be slow. Ended up leaving and going to Big Lots where I found the crate way cheaper.

I usually love this store but apparently Tuesday night is the C-Team because I have never felt more unwelcome in a store. Granted I came in the last 15 minutes but I had an issue that shouldve taken maybe 5 minutes. Ive worked in retail for 7 years and I feel like it was never that hard to not be grumpy and kurt to the days last customer. Ill be sticking to coming in on the weekends I suppose.

This store was very unprofessional and not well organized. We had an appointment for grooming of our dogs. When we arrived we were told the appointment was for bathing only. We spoke to the Store Director and she said we can only groom your smaller dog. I guess she expected us to drive back on another day to get our larger dog groomed. We will not use this store again. Complete waste of time...

Always very helpful. Register help always quick and accurate. Always have our dogs food and treats in stock. Grooming department always does a nice job and stays on time. Even though my poodle is fussy, they get a beautiful cut just the way I ask for it. They even go over the appointment each time. We go every 6-8 weeks for over 4 years and are very happy.

This is by far my favorite Petsmart. Ive been buying my cat and dog food, treats and toys here for several years. Yesterday I used the groomers for the first time. They cut my puppies nails. Better than her normal groomer as they got them shorter and not as sharp. Ill being them for grooming services again soon. I was very happy and so was Sophie.
