Go here often. I can never find an employee and the fish tanks are gross and filled with dead fish. The other day I went in and there were 50 black mollies in a bag and another breed of fish with about 30 in a bag sitting in the tanks the fish had ick and were labeled so they were being suffocated. The bags had water but they werent getting filtered within 20 minutes all the fish were dead I asked for a manager and while waiting I asked the old cranky woman behind the counter "you know you are killing those fish right?" She then replied "no really" Im sorry ick is easily treated if they had used aquarium salt in the first place and bought from reputable breeders they wont have had an issue. Many children saw the bag of dead fish which stayed in the tank for about 40 minutes until an employee came and threw them in the trash.

This store was moved from the Oracle location to Wetmore and 1st Ave. Much better parking and access. As for customer service well it is still a little lacking. Went in to look at some fish and there were dead fish in the tanks, not what you want to see when buying fish. Asked a couple of other questions concerning items and was told "I think so and so knows the answer to that." They didnt even offer to find out the answer or find so and so.

Our Shepard/Husky "Jenny " is 12+ yrs. old. She gets very anxious anytime we try to do her nails & we tried going to an "all in one" pet store, it didnt go well for her at all. We went to the Wetmore store not having much hope for a better experience. Surprisingly it was great! We were in & out in 15 min. & the young lady was so gentle. This is a wonderful environment for all .

I have been a customer of Petco for many years but today was very disappointing. Jada is the rudest employee I have ever dealt with. She was very condescending and just unpleasant. I will be making a call to corporate about my experience. No one should be treated they way I was today.

If you planning to buy saltwater fish...BEWARE...their tank is infected with ICK parasite, I was stupid enough to introduce a parasite carrying fish to my tank, now I have to wait 8 weeks for the parasite to complete their cycle before I can introduce another fish to my tank.

Great employees here that are always excited to see our puppy and help us out with any questions. Great training service too. Nick loves to train dogs and he is great at it. He has made training our little monster easy.

Stunning selection of dog and cat food with friendly staff and frequent adoption events with PAAC. Love the refillable bulk kitty litter here, and just looking at the selection of exotic fish and aquarium plants.
