My wife and I needed an aquarium for our adult fish, and we had a small window to buy one. My wife took it upon herself to go get one, and she brought our baby along. She told them our budget (~$100 for something used), and their first offer was for a used $500 dirty set up. She said "no, thanks", and the two salesmen (neither was the owner) then worked towards making a sale. The sale?? A cheap 30 gal aquarium with a few dings and multiple scratches on the corners and glass, a plastic hood w/light that had a broken hinge, and a HUGE cleaning project (it had not been cleaned at all) for $150! Way to go guys. You sold an exasperated mom with a hungry baby a piece of crap aquarium that could be had NEW at Petsmart with a GLASS hood and light for quite a bit less (e.g., the 50 gal setup at Petsmart is $155). Take your money elsewhere.

Ive got a Red Sea Max 250, and recently had the tank cleaned twice by CCA , because a back surgery prevented it. The owner came out and went threw my tank completely , and also re stacking my rock properly. All of my fish and inverts have come from CCA and have always thrived. People say this or that, but personally I have driven to the heights pet store , and while they have a lot of equipment, and tanks, they do not have the selection of fish or corral that CCA does. The CCA store is a pleasure to frequent, all the displays are always clean - the frag tank is awesome, and a second one is being constructed now. Ive been in bozeman 15 years, and seen 3 pets stores come and go, and I truly nope CCA sticks around!!!

Thanks again for coming to the rescue!! While out on a two week vacation my 80 gallon tank cracked and was leaking for two days. A friend watching the house notified me, I immediately contact Crystal Clear Aquariums. Never having worked with them before, they understood the urgency of this matter. Long story, short. They came out very quickly and replaced the tank while saving all my fish leaving my mind at ease for the remainder of my trip. Thank you Tanner! Bring your whole family and make an event of it, then take a piece of your experience home. This place is awesome....definitely an event destination. If you have kids, youve gotta experience the giant, 6-tiered touch tank...bring your camera!!...video the cleaner shrimp as they clean your kids hands! The owner and staff are awesome. The sea life is amazing! And technology has made salt reef tanks both easy and affordable for nearly everyone.

I love this store period. Awesome staff very knowledgeable they will drop what they are doing to help you with a product or to answer questions. Very clean store professional setups for the tanks, reasonable prices and they go out of there way to find a way to get something if they dont have it. This is no pet-smart or pet co here, no dirty tanks or half dead fish or flora, this is a must one stop shop for anyone in the greater Gallatin valley area.

First impressions of Cristal Clears Aquariums for me was WOW!!! Hands down the most complete and well organized, well staffed, professional and knowledgeable aquarium store that i have ever been in. A must see and enjoy. Very interesting and fun. I met the owner and he is a stand up and super in the know guy. Dont pay ANY attention to the person that left the nasty review as he is obviously a buffoon.

Crystal Clear Aquariums is a beautiful store with a great selection of corals, animals and fish!! They provide everything with excellent care and extensive professional knowledge. You will always get a good deal and they frequently have great weekend sales on Sat and Sun. I love this store and enjoy just being inside with all the different kinds of aquarium life. I highly recommend it!!

Any pictures you see online do NOT do this place justice. I drove 2 hours just to check it out. Well worth the drive! The tanks were clean, the fish all healthy and active. The salt water set up is amazing! Its in a small nook of a plaza... I cant imagine what they would do with more space. Oh, and the prices were great too! Definitely a place to check out if you like aquariums! ^.^

Worst store in Montana by far. The owner is a scammer. He will charge you $30 for a simple fish that any other store will charge you $12 for. The only reason he gets away with this is because there is no other store in Bozeman. If you are going to spend more than $100, its worth it just to drive to Missoula or Billings.

Drive from Helena at least once a week to visit the store. Very knowledgeable staff and easy to deal with. The turn around shop in town does not apply. Would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to start the hobby or just need more!!!!

You have to be open for business to have customer support. This store is closed for remodel for two months and you can drive to Billings for any needs. Good thing mail orders come to the door!
