It was going great, had everything I needed, until I wanted to make a dessert. I thought "Vons is great, they have everything" I slowly collected my items, until I came to the last thing... apple pie filling. I wandered the aisles, checking out by the cake mixes, the canned fruit, hell even the canned vegetables. Alas, I couldnt find it, stumped I asked an employee. I told him my dilemma, and we walked back to the cake mix aisle...and there was nothing but pumpkin pie filling. He said "Guess were out" How DARE Vons not have apple pie filling! I have never felt so hurt or betrayed, now Im walking 14 minutes to smart & final! Everything else though was fantastic and everyone was very nice and helpful.

They are good. Most of the time... The place is clean, and they have good staff, but they must hire more professional people to work here. I have been buying the same cheese for the past 20 year, and I always ask for the same cheese. This time when I got home and opened the bag, I saw that they cut the wrong cheese for me. I mean things can happen, but if the person who cut the cheese would pay more attention to the customers, and less to their coworkers, they could avoid that mistake. Beside that, they are a great place for shopping.

This store is one of the absolute slowest around every time Im in there. I find the experience horrible 80% of the time. Id rather drive farther to Ralphs, even pay more for better service and self-checkout machines. Wrote Vons following one horrendous visit via website and did not receive a response except the auto-confirm that they received my complaint. No other way to contact store management. I avoid this Vons like the plague which is too bad, its location is ideal but again, Ill drive farther for better service!

Incredibly long checkout lines manager is unavailable to check. Despite people standing at the registers with nothing to do the Vons employees refused to call other employees to check their refused to page for the additional cashiers. Never go there unless you want to wait a long time and pay higher prices

The store is incredibly clean and tidy. The deli/bakery counter offers delicious, ready to eat food. The workers are so helpful, offering to check in the back for product. My only reason for giving a 4 was that nearly every visit, the cashier was somewhat short and I felt rather rushed by them ...

Shoulda been a perfect eperience however the cashier interjected her thoughts about me cashing out of town check. She was surprised when the corporate computer system honored my check.....Next time lady run the check I can take no from headquarters.

Come here all the time when I need an item but not my main place for groceries. Lately its been super crowded with lines down the aisles. There three is a crowd marketing is a lie.

Friendly staff, the courtesy clerk who helped me was quite friendly. He took me to where everything was. Great place, the deli has delicious sandwiches as well.
