If you value your items and your decency you will AVOID this scam market. Upon being referred to this place for a short term loan that we needed at the time, we were immediately given a hard time about the price we would get for our year old PS4. We eventually got the price we wanted after getting upset. When we went to go and retrieve the item earlier than the due date, we had to pay full price in addition to a 5% tax charge due to the fact that we were using a debit card. This was completely opposite to what we were told a month earlier. So bottom line is- you get what you pay for. Want a cheap place that will pretty much take any item on the down low because its a shady store? Then you got it. Because this shady shop has the scummiest people you will meet. The shop even has a sign above the counter saying that "Prices are subject to change based on the customers attitude." Yeah, okay. We are going to take our business elsewhere. And I would advise the rest of the area to do the same.

I called in advance so I would not have to haul heavy speakers into their shop. I was told that i would have to bring them in. I reluctantly did, walking in the door i was spoken to like a piece of (expletive) without checking what the speakers were he told me they dont take them "they are too cheap" they were Rokit 5 KRK sound monitors, they sell used for 100 a piece. He then tried to BUY them from me instead of giving me a load.... ALSO: this is not my first time going here and having problems with the same person, the bald short stocky black guy. I bid & won an item on eBay from Providence Pawn. The PayPal was sent and accepted. Not until hours later was I notified - it was SOLD over the weekend, sorry, here is your money, or I can give you a lesser unit for the same price or discount... come on - youre DEALING on a global market and the locality sells it?? Likely it wasnt ENOUGH money and the sale cancelled... Its EASIER and CHEAPER to do that than to place a RESERVE on it. $$$ BEWARE - If youre bidding or buying on eBay, dont count on anything until you get a tracking number.... ridiculous. ANGRY and HURT!!!!

In the running as one of the worst pawn shops ever in business... the guys here are fools and under value your pawn and what ever else you have with THE worst research you can imagine, going to eBay of all places, to the used auctions(still going on)to scam you on the value of your item even when it is brand new. Retail prices dont matter to them at all... just eBay Lmao. True gimmick of schmucks here, stupid people welcome! He just cares about making his money and robbing you blind. Thank you

The best place to sell your gold...PP gave me more money, than any other Pawn Shop in Providence...They dont take advantage if you are a student here from the other side of the world (Italy)....Very professional ,very secure place...If you are new in town I would recommend you to choose this place for your needs ...They did not charge me to test some jewelry pieces that I have, and they cleaned my ring for free...I highly recommend Providence Pawn.

This place is awful they give you the worst prices and try to rip you off like you dont know how much your valuables are worth. I will never return to that place if they werent the only ones open at the time i would of left. Unless u like wasting your time with their lies about how your products arent that much money then dont even waste your time going. They are clueless and just want to rip you off

Mostly If I have to sell something I soldit on Craigslist, but since I found PP. I take everything here. Those guys are always fair and knowledgeable about products. It seems that the staff works there for long time, Im always beeing helped by same tall guy I think called Johnny. Hope U will have same experience as Me.

It is what it is...a.pawn shop and theyre gonna make their money. So, dont expect to get much more from this place than any other pawn shop. Theyre in business to make money. I will say the guys are respectful and very professional in the way you will be treated, so that goes along way!
