Weeks before my appointment I emailed Jeremy Swan with a bunch of disparate, far-from-realized ideas and told him I wanted to him to run with them. The day of my tattoo he came back with a design that I never would have discovered on my own. He melded the ideas and images into something really striking and bold. I barely looked down while he was working to see what it looked like. When we finished with the first phase of my half sleeve I went to the mirror and just stared in disbelief. I now have a unique, beautiful tattoo that I am totally in love with. Cannot recommend this shop highly enough. Jeremy Swan is my new straight boyfriend.

Bunch of chill guys! Got inked by Matt today and it turned out great. I told him I wanted a phrase on my hip done, and he drew up some custom script that turned out amazing and really original, one of a kind. Hes great at getting the art to compliment your body and puts time into the piece until he gets it just like you want it. Jeremy showed up for a bit and seemed pretty rad as well. First tattoo I have had that exceeded the standards of how I envisioned it. Insane pad, cool crew, and innovative art...this is how it was meant to be.

Im from AZ and still would never go anywhere else! After 10 years of trying to figure out what I would permanently want on my body, I spontaneously made a decision during a road trip and Matt put my idea together perfectly. Everyone at the studio was incredibly accommodating and they set my friend and I up for appts with just a days notice. Matt did an outstanding job with the design and placement of my tattoo and I absolutely love it! When Im ready to add to it, I will definitely make the trip.

Called Broken Art to get an appointment, Justin got on the phone and was extremely helpful answering all my questions and then some. When I got the dates of my appointment mixed up, I emailed him on the day I had my appointment, he emailed me back in less than an hour and said that he would take me the next day, a sunday. Justin was very nice and he did exactly what I wanted! I got my white tattoo and it looks great! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a tattoo installment done today by an artist named cameron. First off this guy greeted me with a smile , and went out of his way to accommodate my tattoo needs.The tattoo was done with minimal pain, it came out incredible, and was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this shop, and more over the artist Cameron.I will be back for more top notch tattoos.Thumbs up for this place.

Reached out to them for a month and could not get a return call or email. Contacted them via their website general request, direct email and phone and whenever I got someone on the phone they said the shop manager would call but never got a call back. The response I got was, "we have a lot of people, like 100 a day so sorry but hopefully someone will call you back this time"

Rad! Ive been looking for a good tattoo artist in LA for years but either the shops I checked out felt like an assembly line, the artists were detached, mediocre or they had severe attitudes which all turn me off. Their shop is really cool and clean, everyone there is super friendly, talented, and you can tell they have fun with their work. Ill definitely be back to see Matt!

Just have to start by saying Matt Howse is great. Found him years back in San Rafael where we he did some Japanese style pieces for me and followed him here to Broken Art Tattoo. He is a pleasure to work with and will continue my work with him as long as I have space! Definitely would recommend for Japanese style tattoos as well as traditional.

Dillon is absolutely AMAZING! He worked with me until my vision was perfected. I had my roses updated and a butterfly added. Yes, he is very sweet and very cute. Thats the added benefit of sitting in his chair. The primary benefit is hi professionalism, creativity, and intuitiveness. Amazing artist!

I got a rosarie done on my arm and its freaken awesome. Jeremy made sure that it was exactly the way i wanted it and gave some really good feedback on what else i should do. The shop is clean, has a pingpong table, and a fully stocked bar. i can always count on them to do the right thing.
