I recently placed and picked up a large online order for which I was sent a survey afterwards. I filled it out with sub-par ratings in a few spots as it took a long time to complete the process and I had to load it myself after asking for help a couple times. The order was pulled when I arrived and the staff helpful, but they were super busy and Im not supposed to lift anything over 20lbs right now due to a back injury. Anyway, the next day when they opened I received a call from both the store manager and from Jerry who usually helps me with larger orders. Both were wanting to make it right. Im all about that kind of effort. Additionally, I realize Im not paying for any loading help and should have just been more patient, but got anxious as I had help waiting to unload back on site and it was getting late. My usual experience in this particular Home Depot is very good, and I am in there 2-4 times a week on average. As opposed to Lowes/Ace, where the staff is under-qualified and generally not very knowledgeable, it seems this Home Depot tries to place staff that has usually had a good amount of field experience and knowledge in the store in their respective departments. Usually Im in and out, but I appreciate it when Im trying to find a weird plumbing or electrical connection and need some suggestions. Ive also been pleased with the rental center and Leo is usually very helpful when I need help loading bags of cement or other multiples of heavy items. My only suggestion is to beat the crowds in the summertime by trying to be there before most people are off work and projecting.

Lest anyone think Im a disgruntled Home Depot customer--let me preface my review by saying I regularly shop this store--Ive made dozens of purchases here--including other appliances. Each time with satisfactory results. But we recently had a terrible experience with one of their installers--if you plan to purchase an appliance from Home Depot, you should definitely ask who will be installing it! We purchased an LG dishwasher from Home Depot and paid for it to be delivered and installed. The "installers" who were from a sub contractor called XPO who showed up to do the job, didnt know how to install the dishwasher. Heres a snippet of the conversation regarding how to wire the new dishwasher: "Bro, how do we wire this? I think the black wire goes with this black wire and the white one goes there, what shall we do with this copper one?" Then--regarding the plumbing, "We dont know how to hook up your drain hose--well need to call in a plumber to do that." "Ok, you mean youre going to have a plumber finish the job tonight?" "No, we cant get a plumber to come for at least two weeks." They wanted to leave the uninstalled dishwasher in the middle of our kitchen floor for two weeks... This is no exaggeration! When we wouldnt sign their paper work to indicate theyd completed the installation, they reloaded the dishwasher on their truck and left...

We are finishing our basement so we went to the construction desk they said if you buy 1500$ in merch they will send it to the "bid room" and see if they can squeeze out any more discounts, then you have 6 days to come back in and add to that order before the bid is closed... well thats a lie, we went in to get more studs and told them to add it to our bid just like Caroline told us to do but the person at the register wouldnt do it, so we went to caroline at the "pro" desk and told her what was going on she said you have to buy 1500$ more to add it to your bid and get a discount, we responded with YOU said all we had to do is come back in before 6 days and it will get added, she responded with "well you were mis informed" <-- note that she was the original informant. Regardless we still have probabily 6000+$ left in things to purchase (doors, flooring, paint) and looks like LOWES is getting my $$$$$ good job there HD and your "Pro" desk.... what a joke

Have gone to this Home Depot location for many years with no problems - except for with their medicine cabinets. We have two bathrooms that we needed medicine cabinets for and after buying the first one, the doors were completely crooked, so we took it back. Finally settled on one just like it that was still not in the best condition. Now, we are trying to get one for a second bathroom and the first one had the fake wood peeling off at the bottom. So, we took it back and got one that was a little more money, hoping its better quality. NOPE! Took it home and one of the doors had been pulled off the hinges, leaving a hole in the side. So we are now taking it back. Really, we just wish we hadnt wasted so much time giving them the benefit of the doubt and had to take back THREE medicine cabinets.

The store is always good itself, but the staff are a little rude. Home depot prides itself on customer service, but this location is lacking. Its their store policy to take a customer to where a product is, but most the employees here point in a general direction and send you on your way. The employees are too chatty with each other and make themselves unapproachable due to their "pumpkin patches " (several orange aprons gathering together chatting). Other employees make it seem like theyre too busy to provide customer service. Ive been to other locations where the employees take time to pass on knowledge they have that correlates to projects Im doing at the time.

It is what it is. A big box store, with not enough people willing to help. If youre there when its busy, all their employees are too busy to help, and if youre there when its not busy, they are doing everything they can to not help you. We have bought appliances from them on a couple occasions, so I can say that that department is good when you can find someone to help you. The cashiers have mostly been pleasant to deal with, and you can typically get what you came for at a decent price. Theyre competing with a Lowes across the street, so I tend to share the business between the two.

Nothing to great, we looked around in the flooring department for about 45 minutes and only saw one imployee. He quickly answered questions but was very nice. However no one else was around for the next 20 minutes. I had questions, but I wasnt going to go find someone for that small of a question. Ill go back, but only because they are the closest home Depot to my home. Oh and the checker was more concerned about talking to what seemed to be another employee that was leaving the store. All around a unpleasant experience.

I love this location. I have found they have the most employees who know what they are talking about and who are more then willing to help you with any questions you may have. Most of the employees are extremely happy which is very important to me when I need to ask questions. To name a few of my favorite employees: James in electrical, Scott in insulation, and Bob (I think he is over tools) Im not sure what he is over but he is always happy and can point me in the right direction on pretty much anything I need.
