PLEASE DO NOT HAVE THIS DEALERSHIP LOOK OUT FOR YOUR OR YOUR FAMILYS SAFETY. The recall on the GM HHR and G6. A few days ago I called my son-in-law on my way home because my steering had gone out on my HHR. He looked up the issue and found that many people had this problem before, and found that the steering assist motor the fix to the issue. The next day, GM announced the recall of the steering on the HHR on top of the ignition system. I made an appointment to bring the HHR in to Roseville Chevrolet to have the steering wheel fixed under the recall. The dealership told me they would service the ignition on the car, but the part would be in near the end of the month. I reminded the attendant I was in for the steering. Then was told they would service the computer module for the steering and I would need to pay for the assist motor. I’ve never heard of a recall where the customer pays for the repair. When I asked for the service manager to come out and speak with me, he would not come out of his back room office, nor would they open the door to let me leave because of her poor service. I had to ask three times to leave and the manager never came out to speak with her. Now I found out my son-in-laws own G6 is under the same recall for steering. It seems like GM is willing to play roulette with my family while we all are waiting for service parts. Are we supposed to wait for parts while we hope something catastrophic doesn’t happen? Or are we supposed to pay for alternative transportation and repairs on a recall GM admits to? Not very good choices especially when you can’t afford either.

I recently bought a 2016 Chevrolet High Country from the dealership and really I couldnt be happier. I went in with the thought of buying a used truck and came out with not only a better understanding of my new vehicle but a comfortable feeling of being apart of the Rosedale family. Reily was the one who brought me into the dealership, his hard work and committment of "making the call" and following up on emails got me to the door. Nate was the salesman who brought the deal home. Nate was knowledgable and explained to me both all about the vehicle as well as the process. Again the focus was about making me happy not about the sale which sounds odd from people that are hired to sell things. Additionally, I was in a time crunch and had to leave the dealership. Nate was understanding and allowed me the ability to come back and continue our deal with nothing more than a handshake and a promise. When I came back Nate had other customers and still took the time to answer my questions and provide me not only a quality experience but a more global understanding of how the purchasing process works. End result a perfect deal nothing else I could ask for I was taken around and met service staff as well as the manager which I think puts a personal touch on the deal. If there were more stars I would add them this was a great process for me if I bought another car it would be through here. Sidenote, Nate has followed up a couple times since the day of purchase just to make sure I am happy with the purchase. I cant wait for the owners dinner coming up I was invited to.

4/18/16 UPDTAE: Service manager and i had a good conversation surrounding last visit. I am going to work with them on getting these matters resolved. That is a positive attribute of the service managers desire to have positive experiences. Lets hope this run of bad turns to a run of good. Came in for oil change, notes on sheet were not accurate, not updated, said oil life was at 37% when it was at 1% which proved they didnt look at all or update. Tire pressures said to be set at 35 when I instructed them not to touch the air in the tires due to them having nitrogen and they do not have that. I check the pressures and they were all out of whack as if someone just shot some air in each tire to make it look like they were doing something. Pressures when I left were 40, 38, 37, 35. It makes me wonder if they even changed the oil in the first place. Also I signed for estimate of 39.95 and when I paid the bill it was over $50. When I picked it up they did not rotate the tires either as promised stating no wheel lock found. I told the service writer it was sitting right in the center console. He looked and there it was. I then had to wait again longer for them to rotate the tires. This only validated why I stopped bringing my Chevys to this dealer. It was convenient to work but no longer can I trust them to do what is asked. They told me to share this experience on here. I respect they want the good with the bad on here. Ill be taking my Chevys back to the dealer by my house instead of Rosedale.

I am a repeat customer of Rosedale Chevrolet because the experience is next to none. I purchased an Equinox in 2012 and had all my service and maintenance completed by Rosedale Chevrolet. Not only did Harry and Ray take impeccable care of my vehicle, but provided excellent customer service by making sure I understood any issues, why repairs were necessary and what could happen if not repaired. They made sure I was kept up to date on the status of my vehicle while in service and made sure all my transportation needs were met while my vehicle was in service. They were diligent about seeking assistance from Chevrolet when any repairs were covered under warranty. My warranty on the Equinox has recently run out so I went out seeking a new vehicle, only for the comfort of knowing I have a vehicle that is covered under warranty, I still love my old Equinox. My sales person Deb and GM David were very kind to work with and very generous coming up with EXCELLENT pricing on the vehicle I wanted to meet my pricing and financing requirements. I cannot say thank you enough for their patience and willingness to work with me. Last, but not least FM Shawn. Wow, talk about looking out for somebodys best financial interest. I work in the finance industry and he is a rarity! I would recommend Rosedale Chevrolet to take care of your car purchase and servicing needs.

Purchased a set of 4 tires last summer for my 2011 Tahoe for $900-1000. Recently had one tire leaking air, I has the type of repair protection or guarantee they offer. Had the spare on when I arrived, when I picked up my car after the repair they had thrown the tire in the back. I would have thought a dealership would put it back under the vehicle where it is stored. I was alone with my 16 month old and had gotten a ride to pick up my car, it was pouring outside. I asked if anyone could show me how to put the spare back where it goes and I received blank stares from the employees at the counters in the garage. I was fortunate that a young man working in the service area helped me. I tipped and thanked him. This should have been part of basic service after purchasing tires there. Big dirty tire in the back of my car. Prior to this I had asked about a loud humming noise in my 4 wheel drive at multiple visits. Finally I was told by Harry one of the service advisors that it is inside the 4 wheel drive and was told I would have to bring it back in. I then had a baby, got busy and when I brought it in the next time for an oil change I forgot. Asked at the next visit and was told it needed a total overhaul. Now the problem was outside of warranty. It should have been addressed when I asked 2 years earlier. And they had documentation I asked.
