I had test drove multiple trucks and SUVs but ultimately fell in love with the 2017 Ridgeline that Honda offers. They are hard to find in the area, especially at higher trims so when I searched online and found the right trim/color combo on RB Hondas site, I immediately called. The salesman who took my call was Coltan and he did a very good job of answering my questions and giving me options as the Ridgeline (red) I wanted was still in transit and had not arrived at the dealer yet. He recommended I come in and test drive a Ridgeline (silver) that they had in stock which would be identical to the one I wanted except for color, and then if that test drive went well I could put a deposit down for the Ridgeline that was coming in. Liking that plan I grabbed my wife and we headed over to the dealership. When my wife and I arrived we were greeted by Coltan who was very friendly and approachable. He offered us water/coffee and continued to do this throughout our time with him which I thought was great. He went along on our test drive and did a great job of explaining features and instructing me on how to use some of the more complicated ones (adaptive cruise control). With the test drive going well we went back to the dealer and I put my deposit down for the Ridgeline that was in transit. Before we left Coltan went over the process of how things would go down once the Ridgeline arrived and even offered to come in on his day off if it arrived on that day. I was very pleased and impressed with that. Four days later he contacted me and said the Ridgeline had arrived so I was able to go in the next morning and test drive it. That test drive also went very well, this time Coltan stayed back at the dealership which I appreciated as it gave me time and space to really look things over and try everything out. I think the test drive lasted a little over an hour and he didnt bother me or ask where I was, he was very patient. When I arrived back at the dealership I asked Coltan if I could drive the other Ridgeline just so I could make sure road noise and performance were consistent as this was a big purchase for me, I wanted all my Ts crossed. He didnt hesitate and immediately went and pulled the second one up for me to drive. Everything went well and when I arrived back at the dealer I pulled the trigger on the red Ridgeline that I wanted. The financing portion was pretty straight forward however it did contain a situation that could have made things difficult. I was transferred over to Bridgette for the financing part. She was very friendly and helpful. As I added my options and agreed on the financing numbers it was stated that they would not cash my check for two days as I needed to transfer money to my account in order to meet the downpayment amount we agreed on. I also wouldnt have the truck for those two days as my accessories were being installed. Later that night I found out that I was not going to be able to meet the downpayment amount that I had agreed upon when going over the financing and signing papers. As I said the paperwork was signed and the check was written, needless to say I was panicked. This was completely my fault and no fault of RB Honda. The next morning I was able to get ahold of the accessory agent who put a stop to the installation of things. This allowed me time to get back in touch with Bridgette who I was able to meet in person again where we cut out the accessories that had not already been installed as well as the extended warranty. As a result she drafted up a new financing plan that allowed for a lower downpayment that I could meet. She was able to cancel all of those extra accessories and the extra paid warranty. She didnt have to do this but she understood my situation and worked with me. She didnt seem bothered at all by my mistake. Im very thankful she worked with me. RB Honda has been great to me. If your looking for a vehicle go with RB Honda and if possible get Coltan to sell you the car as hes friendly, very patient and knowledgable about the vehicles they have.

Outstanding experience ! Super awesome car ! This review is long overdue. Long story short, I purchased an used vehicle from the dealership a week before moving out of the state. The purchase itself was very easy. I found the car online, went to the dealeship and met Mr. Neng Lee who is an awesome person. We took a test drive and completed required documentation. The staff was awesome, they were happy to process the purchase documents even after store-closing hours. They were happy to accomodate more than one payment options for the car. During purchase they also provided guidance on the documentation requirements for moving out of MN state. Then a week later I moved out and drove the vehicle to my new place (2 days drive). It was great to know that even after the long haul the vehicle is in great shape and absolutely no problems. Thank you for finding me a great car :) Now for out of state registration, I needed the new MN title to be sent to me at the my new address. However, mail forwarding via USPS may not forward these mails. Therefore, I requested Mr. Lee, if it were possible to change the mailing address few days after the purchase. It was very kind of him to communicate my request the appropriate offices within the dealership. Soon after, I received an update email that my address was in the process of being changed. Moreover, after talking with MN DMV I realized that the title processing may take up to 2 months. And I need to register the vehicle in the new state within 30 days. This was a difficult situation. However, again Mr. Lee helped me out. He again communicated with required office to expedite the title processing. Many thanks to him and the office of title-registration at Richfield Bloomington Honda. In the following week, my record was updated with MN DMV, which I could check online. The status was that title is being printed. Awesome !!! Later that week, I received the title at my new address in a new state. Fantastic :) The same week, I went to the DMV here at my new place with all the required documentation for out-of-state title transfer and out-of-state license transfer. There were some state specific forms that I had to fill out and print them out on paper. On the same day, my title was processed and so was my license. Therefore, I very highly recommend the Richfield Bloomington Honda dealership for purchase. Especially for Mr. Neng Lee who has provided an outstanding both pre and post-sales support and excellent response to my frequent questions via email/phone calls. Overall my experience was very positive. I would highly recommend Richfield Bloomington Honda if you want to purchase a vehicle from a someone whom you can trust and count on. Most importantly after the purchase of vehicle the dealership still cares about you and continues to provide an outstanding customer support. Thank you Neng !!! Thank you Richfield Bloomington Honda, MN !!! :) Thank you DMV in both of my states :)

Worst repair experience Ive ever had. I normally go to a different Honda dealership for service and have always been very happy with them. My Honda broke down near RBH, so I had AAA tow it to their shop, expecting a similar level of respect and service. BIG mistake. My car had just been into me regular dealer for an oil change and inspection the week before, so I brought in my inspection sheet. The shop guy actually used it to type my information in. They called me 20 minutes after I left with a quote of $560 to replace the starter. That seemed high so I got a couple of other quotes, including one from my regular dealer, who said theyd charge $407 for the repair. I called RBH back to ask why I got such a high quote and was told my regular dealer wasnt including a $120 diagnostic fee. I told him if that was the price, I didnt want the repair. He told me Id still be charged the fee because they had an hours worth of work in already . . .when earlier hed told me they wouldnt do the rest of their inspection until I agreed to the repairs and they pushed it into the shop. I replied that they called me with the quote after 20 minutes, not an hour. He went on hold to "call over his tech" then came back on and said, "He went back outside afterward and did the rest." So . . . he spent an hour outside in Minnesota in January, to diagnose something that takes 5 minutes to diagnose? Riiiiiiiight. I told him not to touch my car, that Id pay him the $120 if I had no other option (even though I knew it was BS) but I was going to have a different repair shop tow it and fix it . . . all for less than their original quote. He called back and said hed "talked to his manager" and they could offer me a 10% discount. I told him I felt like I got a "young, single woman" quote and was getting hosed on the diagnostic fee (that I didnt even authorize) and he said thats why he went to his manager, they didnt want me to feel that way. Uh huh. I wound up having them fix it because it was more economical than paying to have it towed elsewhere and fixed once the discount was applied. But I will NEVER be going there again and I will be telling everyone about the bad experience. To top it all off, when I picked up the car, it appeared that theyd done their own total car inspection (despite me telling them Id just had the car in and them literally typing my information in off of the inspection sheet). So I got to pay for their labor to do something I told them didnt need to be done, all so they could give me quotes on what it would cost to fix the problems I already knew I had. WHAT A JOKE. Save your money, save your time. Call AAA and ask what shops they recommend for tows and go to them (theyre also repair shops).
