I gotta say, I am very, VERY disappointed in my recent service visits. I purchased my Saturn Vue from Moundsview Motors in 2004. I have had the oil changed every 3000 miles, diligently. During the 13 years I have owned this vehicle, I have had this service group perform every single maintenance and oil change. This includes not only oil changes, but replacement of normal wear and tear items such as brakes, tires, suspension systems, exhaust, etc. In this timeframe, Ive spent over $11,000 in services. This is over and above the purchase price of the vehicle. Needless to say, I have given this company a lot of money to maintain my vehicle. For that, I say thank you! For years, I felt confident that you were honest and I fully trusted you. That was refreshing, and I gave you stellar reviews and recommended you to my friends and colleagues. Now, this is where I state I am less than confident that my vehicle is in your best interest. I started questioning your integrity in the past 3-4 visits. It previously was expected normal protocol, when I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, you automatically topped all fluid levels, rotated my tires when due (guaranteed with tire purchase), replaced filters, bulbs, etc. Recently, you do not perform these services unless I ask, and then there are times I question whether you have completed it even after I ask. The previous time I brought the vehicle in for a detail, I paid $130.00 and when I picked it up, it was evident that they had not even shampooed the carpet and upholstery. They had not even vacuumed the debris thoroughly. Granted, when I complained, they apologized and cleaned it. This entire scene was disappointing and I had to leave my vehicle for another day. Now, this last episode was the last straw. My vehicle stopped while idling. The battery had full charge, but when attempting to restart, the engine would not turn over. It was towed in for repair. Many details in this discouraging event, but to make a long story short, they replaced the fuel pump fuse. They charged me $130.00. When I asked why a fuse cost $130, I was told (and the invoice indicated) the mechanic drove my vehicle for 1-1/2 hours to test it. He indicated their labor rate was $120.00 an hour and I was getting a good deal. I looked at the odometer reading of when I brought it in, versus when I picked it up, and the difference was one mile. When I questioned that, the technician became defensive and stated the mechanic probably left it idling. I asked why I was charged for driving when it simply idled, and he became further defensive and told me Im lucky that they did not charge me more, because many dishonest service repair companies could have charged me $300.00. He told me to complain to the manager if I had a problem. There was another issue regarding the oil pump, but Ive complained enough, and its not worth my time to try to explain it. Not only have you lost me as a service customer, you have lost me as a sales customer. My plan is to purchase a new vehicle (cash) when I retire in one year. Due to these events, I will not be purchasing from Rydell Auto. This makes me very sad. I am very disappointed. Now, after 13 years, I have to find a new mechanic.

As a recently separated, single mother of a nearly two year old, Ive been juggling a lot of things all at once. One of those things was what to do with my car. It needed repairs. Not expensive repairs, but regardless, they take time. Time isnt something I have a lot of these days. But, I had to do something, because the car was no longer safe for my daughter. I ultimately decided to try to trade it in for a newer car, hoping to get a lower car payment out of the deal. Randy Nystrom, along with my bank, helped me do just that. But what they dont know is that they helped me let go of something from the period of my marriage. They helped me move on. Randy was very helpful and wonderful to work with. He also managed to get me on the road in less than 3 hours! I texted him while I was at work, because I had some openings. I told him that the only way I could stop in right away, was if he could get me back to work before 2:30pm (2:15), and this was at noon. He got me back early! He did his very best to make sure things went smoothly, and in a timely manner. Ive never had a better experience. I strongly recommend this dealership. If I ever find myself in the market for another vehicle, I know where Im going. Thank you so much for all the help, and for responding to me in a timely manner. I very much appreciated everything you did for me.

Im so very disappointed in my decision to purchase a used car from this dealership. My mom convinced me to shop in since she has had good experiences here and even more unfortunately I was in desperate need for a car. I was about to leave when the salesperson told my mom about a Dodge Stratus they had on the lot. I was hesitant, especially since Im sure two women on a used lot are easy targets, and I think the salesperson took full advantage of that. He sold us on the car saying "I would give this car to my daughter" and gave us a car history (which wasnt even a car fax, some off brand version) but like I said, I was in a pinch and by that time we wouldnt have time to go to any other dealerships that day and I couldnt go another week without a car. (My work commute is pretty far) Its been six months and this car has multiple oil leaks, a coolant leak, loose ball joints, etc etc. SO much for their "rigorous inspection process to identify any problems that might exist so that we can provide the highest quality used vehicles we can" (quoted from the homepage of their website). They sold me a lemon and I am still paying off the loan I took out for this car. Meanwhile every month since getting it I have had to shell out repair costs that now equal half of what I paid for it. Extremely dissatisfied.

After struggling to fix a vehicle and to get financing the first time around we bought a car, we hadnt really planned on adding another vehicle. A few repairs later, and our vehicle left us without a choice. We were left to buy another vehicle, and found one we liked at Rydell. Elvis spent almost all day helping us to get financing. When we were in the middle of it, he told us to take the car and go have lunch. We got back and the financing was still underway. We had been working for a while on fixing our credit but it was still less than superb. We both thought that it was unlikely we would even be able to get another loan, but didnt know what we would do for a second car. Elvis told us, he would make it work, and that we would be leaving there with the car that day. After working all day to help us, he definitely delivered on his promise. We left with our car, and he made everything work out. We even ended up with a much better interest rate than we had expected. I would definitely purchase here again. Elvis was a great help and so was his sales manager! I wish I remembered his name as well, but definitely ask for Elvis, if he works half as hard as he did for us, you would still be in good hands!
