We had been financing our car through Zerr for almost 2 years. We ran into some bad luck and had to move to Ohio. We had a verbal agreement with Zerr to make smaller payments until we were back on our feet. We then had a car accident. After the insurance check was issued, our names, as well as Zerrs names were on the check. We were told to send the check to Pete, so he could then produce another check with just our name on it in order to get the car out of the shop and get the rest of the repairs made to the car. Pete then decided to use the check to pay off the car instead of issuing the check for the car repairs from the wreck. Although, there was nothing wrong with this decision, we were never even contacted by PETE telling us what he had decided to do. It wasnt until we recieved the title in the mail, that we knew he used our insurance money to pay off the car. When I called PETE about this and questioned his decision, he then told me, "you moved out of state, and I didnt want to be screwed over". We were good customers for 2 years. I wouldnt be so angry with PETE if he would have told us what he was doing, instead of being a coward and just sending the title and a letter explaining himself. He is very unprofessional and could have handled this situation A LOT better. A real BUSINESSMAN would have contacted us, and said this is what I have decided to do. I wouldnt recommend Zerr Auto Sales to anybody. Youre better off making your own car. ...On the other hand, Chris (a Zerr employee) has been very kind and professional through the years we financed through them. If it wasnt for Chris, there would be no Zerr. He is the rock in that place. If you are a customer and walk into Zerr, Chris will more than likely know who you are. Pete, on the other hand will not. After I recieved his letter and the title in the mail, I called Zerr. I was put on hold while Pete was retrieved to come to the phone so I could speak to him. He referred to me as "the Kentucky girl", and last time I checked, my name is not Kentucky girl. Very unprofessional. This situation could have been handled in a more efficient manner. Not to mention we have put $3200 into this car since weve had it. VERY UNHAPPY WITH ZERR!!

Do NOT get a car from Zerr!!!! I went to Zerr when I was 18 years old and put $4000 down on a $9000 car. I made my payments on time when I was active duty Army but when I left the service, I had a hard time finding a job and they were more than happy to work with me on my payment...when I had about $4000 left to pay it off....Now, we had twins about 8 months ago and they have many medical problems due to being very early. When I told Chris our situation, The last time that Chris would ever take our calls(they hang up on us when we try to call and set something up now), he sarcastically said,"Oh, is this ANOTHER baby?" Now that we have $1200 dollars to pay the car off, they are unexpectedly trying to repo the car even though we are trying to call and work something out with them. They didnt send a letter and are way too lazy to call even though they have our address and phone numbers. They are even having people watch our house. Please DO NOT get a car from Zerr WHATEVER YOU DO!!! They dont care about you at all!Theyre EXTREMELY money hungry!!!

Bad service! I went to check out a car and the sales guy was too lazy to even show it to me - just passed me the keys and asked me to look at it myself. Then he couldnt confirm a trade in value for my car because his boss was not around so I made an appointment to come in later the same day to meet his boss. I showed up 5 hours later, but they had sold the car. Cant be trusted!

Recently purchased a car from them and TBH, They are fantastic. My wife and I in are VERY early 20s and it has been hard for other car lots to help us out. Zerr was very HELPFUL and REASONABLE. As long as you get your car payment paid ontime everything is fine!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS. We have bought 2 cars from them, they buy crashed cars and attempt to fix them but 2 or 3 months down the road you can guarantee you will run into mechanical problems. Stay away from this sleezy business.
