Horrible Experience...I find all Safeway stores overpriced and slow. Not to mention this location I have found expired food on shelves....twice! First time I stopped in to purchased a couple jars of baby food as I was in a hurry and Safeway is closer to my home then King Soopers (which is where I usually shop). I always check expiration dates (thank god!) I couldnt believe that the BABY FOOD was expired by 3 months!!! I informed a the lady at the customer service desk and she acted like it was no big deal! I swore I would never shop there again! Second occasion...I asked my husband to stop by the store on his way home and of course, he stopped at Safeway...he purchased a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi and brought it home in a Safeway bag...right away I said...please tell me you didnt go to Safeway. I checked the expiration on the Pepsi and of course, it was expired. Took it back myself and asked for a manager and he said we have had bad mgmt. here, Im new and will make sure to check everything...yeah right! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT SAFEWAY EVER!

I went here last night to get some water from the drinking fountains and to take a break from walking, my friends were with me and after we got water we went and sat down, then as we were about to leave we decided to go have one last gulp of water before we head out, so we went over there and all got a drink, and then we saw the two staff members that were working staring us down and we walked over too them and in a rude manner one says "can I help you" and we said no were just leaving and then we heard them start to call the police. Im getting really sick and tired of stores calling the cops on me, you think African American people are treated wrong, try being a teenager.

As another reviewer wrote, the store needs remodeling and fresh produce is very limited. Id add that the organic choices are severely limited and the fresh produce is low quality. It isnt the best place for a full shopping trip, but when you just need the basics they have them. The staff is friendly. The store is dingy and outdated. My biggest complaint with this Safeway is the lines. They desperately need a U-Scan. One time I was stuck in line for over 15 minutes, the express line nonetheless. In lieu of a U-Scan it would be nice if they would at least stick with the item limits on the express line, several times Ive been behind people with 20+ items in their cart.

I will never go back to this location. I bought milk tonight because the half gallon I opened this morning (from this store) had already spoiled. It was labeled June 29. Got to the store and my options were June 29th, July 3rd (tomorrow) and one July 10th. Got home with the July 10th one to find the safety cap had already been removed. When I told the manager she returned the one I bought tonight but made no indication they would pull the others that were past the sell by dates off the shelf.

This is by far this best run Grocery store in the area. They are Full, fresh & clean. They do not have " self checkout" but they keep the line moving. If 2 people get to register they call for help. The produce is always fresh. Meat is cut in the store and Angus beef at lowest price I have seen.

Hometown Help! Fabulous store manager who exceeded my expectations! She went out of her way to make my day and by doing so, also, eased my Mothers hardships! Thank you Safeway, I am forever grateful and elated to know a hometown store still exists. I will be shopping there as much as possible.

Ive been shopping here for years. The staff is super friendly, the store is tidy and the checkout lines are short. Ive seen bad produce once or twice though, be sure to check your fruits and veggies thoroughly before buying.

Probably the oldest and most run down Safeway you will ever visit. Not at all befitting its neighborhood. I avoid it on purpose until they put some money in it.
