Consistently the best produce in town. I believe they only stock organic produce and they seem to be more attuned to what is in season. Consequently, youre not going to get strawberries or eggplants year round. Thats fine by me as those are both much better when in season. Well see what the newly opened Whole Foods has to offer, but I know that this place will remain more relaxed, all organic and closer to my house. ;) The supplement section is large, well-stocked and generally staffed by knowledgeable personnel. Bulk nuts and some grains are refrigerated because this chain takes freshness seriously. Lots of packaged items suitable for folks with food sensitivities. Not a great meat selection, but what they do have is of high quality and decent price. Whatever the superfood of the moment is will be well represented here. Right now its an abundance of coconut oil and coconut derived items. Thats fine. Natural Grocers has a relatively new customer rewards program. You enter your phone number at checkout and it records your purchases to your account. As you spend more, you unlock things like $5 off your next purchase, or special discounts in targeted areas of the store. You receive an e-mail when youve unlocked one of these rewards and you have to open the e-mail and click a link to load the discount. This sounds more onerous than it is. Overall, the system works pretty well for me.

DO NOT buy your fresh Thanksgiving turkey here! The turkey itself is really good, however they arrive the Monday before Thanksgiving, and are frozen solid. They claim the turkeys are "Flashed Chilled", but this is just another way of saying "Frozen Solid". I picked up my turkey this past Monday and its now the Saturday night after Thanksgiving...Im just putting my turkey in the brine for tomorrow and it still has ice inside. This could all be avoided if they would just deliver the Friday before Thanksgiving. This is the third time Ive been burned by this store...never again. Buyer beware!

nevermind the mindless reviews on here. that is part of the problem here in longmont. the people that are employed at this natural grocers act flaky and weird, just like the customers. ive had employees whisper at me like we were going out before, customers act like we had some sort of thing with each other in the aisle when i hadnt even been paying attention to them at the time. theres a lot of people just acting like theyre on estrogen pills or something. yet, its done aggressively, ironically. the only employee thats worth a darn there is maya and i do not know why she is there.

I have been doing almost all my grocery shopping here for 11 years and love it for lots of reasons. Produce is ALL organic, and well-priced. Most bulk items are refrigerated and never rancid. Prices are great, lower than other natural stores overall. No hydrogenated oils here in any products and very high standards for what they carry. They have super, genuinely nice, caring long-time employees. Not as fancy as some stores, but they have everything you need without the glitz and goo.

This is my favorite grocery store. I drive out of my way, from Broomfield, to shop here. The store is always clean, well organized, and well stocked with great products at very competitive prices. All their departments have a great variety of health-servicing products. Their produce is fresh and well-stocked! The staff feel like friends as they welcome you in the door and give you great service throughout the store isles and at the check out. It is a true pleasure shopping here.

So happy to have this store in Longmont! I shop here weekly because many items I purchase are much less expensive than the regular grocery store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is to plan around stocking, otherwise you miss the sales and the shelves are empty or all the products are in boxes in the aisles and it makes shopping difficult.

This is the ONLY place in Longmont to get a lot of the supplements, natural brand foods, etc. that we need. The people are always friendly, and they can special-order anything they dont regularly carry. I wish they were able to expand to a full-service grocery, with meat, deli, full produce, etc. but they do a fantastic job with the space they have.

Like others here, this is the only place I shop for all of my groceries since they opened in Longmont over 11 years ago. You cant go wrong shopping here as they have very high standards for all of the food they carry and their produce is all organic. Im glad to see them achieve some success as their business model is excellent.

Lost coins as belt couldnt be stopped and cashier couldnt do anything. Store is expensive already and the customer isnt first. Mo wonder its often so empty when I do try to shop there. Never seems worth my effort or my money.
