Bad customer service. Manager RD needs to take up a class on how to manage employees and also how to manage customer complaints. I dont think he wanted to be there on a nice Saturday morning. I was disappointed (very) and would not shop there anymore. And if you think by calling the corporate office to file a complaint that the issue will be addressed and resolved youre mistaken. They can afford to lose one customer but not a veteran under paid and over worked manager. Watch out. Its sad when you see the Manager in this case RD acting up as bad as his employee. Nice way to set an example. What happened to treat the customer with respect and....etc and same as the way you want to be treated?? If shop there YOU might walk out disappointed too. Might as well shop accross the street - King Soopers. Same prices but much better customer service. I might even give WalMart a shot. Its not going to get any worse than the way I was treated by RD (and his employee) - Safeway manager at 104th and Federal Blvd.

Fried chicken in the deli is HORRIBLE. Looks great, nice crispy crust, inside totally raw and even runny blood and liquid fat. So sickening. This is the second time in a row this has happened. Thank goodness we have so many other choices in the area - King Soopers across the street, Wishbone about 5 blocks away, Super Walmart about 2 miles away, Costco 3 miles away - there is no need to ever go back to Safeway again. Also, I love the wings and hate the legs and both time she gave us three legs and only one wing. And the wing was raw.

One star is too much. Customer service lady, or manager, was very disrespectful towards me and everyone else. I was just returning some things and she had a bitchy, pissed off attitude the whole time. Raising her voice and throwing things. I wasnt there to argue but apparently she was for no reason. Also, Ask the staff a question and they answer you with a " dont talk to me " attidtude. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. No wonder this Safeway is a ghost town!!. Kingsoopers across the street knows how to treat their customers.

Ive been shopping Safeway for 15 yrs. I know each aisle and move quickly throughout my experience. The store is very convenient and the pharmacy staff is excellent with giving quality care to each person. I know many by name. The deli is delicious and fresh. The produce tastes great offering many selections. They even offer quick in house packages of salsas and precut veggies. A+

This place is the worst! I live right by here and have tried to shop here a few time. Each time I shop here the check out lines are so long with maybe 2 or 3 lames open with managers sitting around watching.. KS across the street would never do this! They also dont have self check out, so if you are running in for a few things get ready to wait. No thanks.

Wont ever shop here again. All of their perishable items were literally expired the day of or the next day and this included any kind of meat, bread, dairy and eggs. WTF is going on with this store? Also, the lines are insanely long and you have to wait forever to get help. Poor management at this location and expired foods!!

Always long lines, they only staff according to sales reports I was told. How does that explain the lady who closed her check out right as lines were forming? I can get what I need in 5 minutes but then stand in line for 15 waiting to get checked out, at least build self checking lines, what am I paying higher prices for?

If you like long lines at all times of day, even with an almost empty store, come here. Otherwise go across the street to King Soopers where they actually staff the registers, and you dont spend more time waiting in line than you do shopping. No wonder so many Safeways close, they dont have any idea what theyre doing.

Customer service is bad, I was told by the cashier that safeway wont match prices... King soopers is directly across the street with better prices! Why then would I wait much longer in line to get poor customer service and pay more? Safeway doesnt give me any reason to shop here. Im going to King soopers.

As usual with this store, there is nine people waiting to check out and one checkout person. Cmon Safeway... There is a reason why most people go to Kings across the street. Self checkout. The Boulder Safeway has it, why dont you guys. This is one of the reasons why I try not to go to your store.

Always UNDER staffed and LONG lines no matter what time of day. King Soopers across the street has better prices and OPEN check outs including self check out. If youre trying to avoid the crowd at Kings this is a good option but, youll spend a lot more time waiting in the lines than it takes to shop.

I was getting flowers and the ladys that were suppose to be helping wasnt helping at all I asked one of them help me put the flowers together and she said yes but itll cost you more, even though kingsoopers does it for free and they were just not helpful. They had attitude

I would give this place 5 stars because the cheap prices, but unfortunately the 7 years I lived there. This location has slow register service. If you are in a hurry to buy a bag of chips in seconds dont think about it because you will be stuck in line for a while.

This is a nice place to get groceries. the store is set up pretty nice and the employees were very friendly to me and my husband. We had some fresh fish from the deli that was very good. Chicken looked good as well, might have to stop back for another time.

I can usually find everything I need, good/fresh produce. My issue with this place is theres never enough cashiers, so always long waits. I wish they had self checkout. I will go across the street to King Soopers just because they have self checkout.

This is a nice place to get groceries. They are more expensive than most other stores and sometimes the fresh fruit and vegetables are not so fresh, but the staff is very nice and helpful. The have great selections at the deli and the bakery as well.

A little more expensive than other grocery store in the area. Make sure you have their card, it is free, or the prices on the shelf will be lower than what you actually pay. Deli has good selection and bakery has nice desserts.

Only 1 cashier on a Saturday night is ridiculous & good luck finding an employee to help you if you need anything. Also they are frequently sold out of their brand of soda. Ill stick to the Kings across the street

***I returned recently and the store had multiple check lanes open, the clerk Melanie who rang me up was very polite. My previous review was unfair, I probably just caught them when they were short-handed.

Hey ya gotta eat right? This Safeway was a good place to stock up. It had everything we needed and lots more. The prices were competitive and the people were helpful and friendly.
