I have been in the valley for more than 12 years and this is the place we stop once a month, even though the smell of sea food just overpowers as you walk in the store. About couple of weeks back (last week of Dec 2012) when I walked into the store the place was freezing cold. I saw the checkout clerks with thick jackets and hood. I asked why is it so cold, the clerk acted like a joker. I didnt bother to speak with the onwer that day. Today (2 Feb 2013) I went to the store. It was cold once again, I walked right out. On the way I saw the owner standing next to the entrance. I asked him why is this place so cold, is something wrong with the heating/cooling. He said that nothing is wrong. Now the first excuse: He says "It has been cold these days and that is why the place is cold". I told him it is not unusually cold, moreover why is it cold inside the store. Second excuse " We have a lot of sea food so we have the keep the place colder" I said that is not true, I have been here 12 years, never had felt this cold, and you had always had the same kinds of sea food. I insisted that there is some other problem: "Third excuse: This is an old building and it will be cold". To that I told him that I had been here 12 years, do you mean to say that up until last year it was a new building and this year it became old. After that I told him, my work requires to monitor highs and lows everyday and our weather is normal, to which he said "so what". The guy was a wierd, never apologetic, or said that we had noticed that too and it is hard to figure out why. He almost began to ridcule my concern. I will have to report this to the right department, trying to figure out which one. Compare this to Pei Wei on Queen creek and Alma School where they had a cooling problem 2 to 3 years back. When I asked the manager why is it so hot, he said sir we are unable to figure it out. We spent close to $10,000 and they are still unable to diagnose the problem. I apologize for the incovenience. Has anyone else noticed why Lee Lee is freezing cold?

I have bought a water boiler from them and use it for less than 2 weeks and I am not satiesfy with the product due to some salt stain inside the water boiler. I brought into the market and they promise to send it for repair and will be back for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, they didnt call and I went to the store and check it out. After search for my item from their store, the boiler has NOT been sent back to the manifacturer. One of the worker took it out and told me that this is due to the salt contain in the water in Arizona state and is not their problem. There is no instruction say that I cant use normal water to boil the water. First, they never send it back ( without any apology ) and blame it on me for not using it correctly. I demand a refund and they told me any NON food item can ONLY be refunded IF it has NOT been used. How can you know or satisfy with the product if you dont even use it at the first place? They have fresh food but DO NOT buy any NON food item from them. They will not allow you to return the item if u have try it!!

Visited this store about 2 years ago while on vacation to see what kind of products I would be able to get as we were deciding to uproot our family from Hawaii. While we were there I saw a woman buying ingredients to make Hawaiian food (squid luau and laulau)...fast forward to Oct. 2015, while on a roadtrip from Colorado (our new home state), I stopped by to see if they still sold luau (taro) leaves and boy was I estatic! I scored a whole bunch of leaves, brought them home with me and made laulau. Im able to find many of the things I need. They have a pretty general range of asian products from Filipino, korean, chinese and japanese cuisine. Love this place! As to be expected, it has your normal smells. EVERY single asian market I have been to (and I have been to tons of them in search of foods Im used to buying in Hawaii) smells like this, some worse than others.

This place is great! They have fresh fish and other seafood that you can order. They have a fairly wide selection of asian vegetables. Although it is an oriental supermarket it also stocks items from other cuisines such as Indian and a bit of latin american. They also have a small asian bakery on the inside were u can get things like bbq pork buns. I would say the selection here is comparable to Mekong Supermarket. The aisles in this place are a bit wider than Mekong so it is a bit less claustrophobic. The prices for produce is fairly cheap but I believe that prices for dried products such as Asian chips or noodles is not as cheap as you would find in Southern California which is not too surprising.

Great store, lots of fresh (and varied/international) produce. Apparently the only place to get bean sprouts in Chandler (Im looking at you Frys!). Points off for the fish section; the live, frequently diseased-looking fish are frequently sharing a tank with dead/dying fish (on our last visit there was a dead catfish spinning on the bottom of the tank, and a tilapia swimming upside down, near death). The oysters we got here, while large, were the worst weve had; very fishy tasting and had a lot of grit. Great selection of spices, sauces, frozen goods and assorted pre-packaged products, and reasonable prices. Just skip the fish and maybe the meat section.

Ive only ever been to the Dobson store, so take this as a review of that specific location. I love this place. It actually smells like FOOD when you go in, not some sterile box where nothing you buy has an odor. The aisles are divided by nationality (with some overlap) and there is an incredible variety of items of all sorts. It is indescribable in its variety (and can be bewildering at times), the prices are great, and the staff is helpful and friendly. From beer to fresh (swimming) seafood to spices to cleavers, and everything in between and beyond, you can find it at Lee Lee.

I must admit, although this place smells really really questionable, they are the only supermarket that I know of that carries absolutely everything. In many occasions I have had to buy not-so-weird items like Chinese eggplant or plantains but Lee Lee ends up being the only place that sells them. If you dont mind the odors (which I think is the smell of fish), its really the best place for anything "non standard American". Staff is friendly but English speaking is limited. Luckily the aisles are very well labelled so it is easy to navigate alone and find what you need. Wee!

A huge, well-stocked international market with goods from Asia and South America. They have plenty of fresh seafood, and a good selection of fresh produce (including some more hard-to-find items like fresh longan, lemongrass and taro). The layout is honestly incredibly frustrating, though--its all roughly divided by country of origin rather than by type of product. So if youre, for example, just trying to hunt down the best deal on bean thread noodles, expect to search across three different aisles.
