Though I lived literally right behind this Safeway for years, I would always drive to the Frys on Hayden. The only thing worth going into this Safeway for was the incredibly delicious tarts that they make. For regular shopping, Frys was the best. This Safeway is small, has little selection and the produce has always been unimpressive. Frankly, Im surprised its lasted this long. When it was the only grocer in the area for years, Im sure it did well. In fact, I remember when it was busy and there were many employees always around to help you. But with Frys, Bashas and now Sprouts....I doubt this Safeway will stay open much longer.

The 5 star review goes solely to Melody behind the breakfast counter. The other woman would receive negative 1 star. She not only ignored the suggestion of the gentleman nearest her that I was standing in line first, but she then continued to ignore me. Melody had to deal with a hungry, now angry me. She was the most pleasant woman Ive encountered, she killed me with kindness and I apologized for my attitude. She was courteous, helpful and I will call the manager to verbally praise Melody. Delicious burrito!

Nice Safeway, well stocked. Has many healthy options that you cant find everywhere. Cashier on this visit wasnt very friendly and tossed a pack of cupcakes I bought into a bag with a bunch of other random items- didnt seem to care about them getting smashed around. He also slammed the divider bar down a few times while "moving" it... seemed to be in a bad mood.

Deborah, the cake baker made my daughters cake wishes come true completely last minute with this Barbie Repunzel cake. After calling 10 different Safeways, she had it ready in 6 hours for me. She also made it much prettier than advertized. My daughter loved it!! Thank you Deborah!! (I added the butterflies)

This is an amzaing store! I usually go to a different Safeway location, but when I discovered this store, I always go here now. Everyone is so friendly. Has fast check-out lines. I have never seen this place busy, which is great to get through the store fast. Overall, a great store! I love the employees.

Unfortunately, the pharmacy never has what is prescribed in stock, on top of very rude female pharmacist working behind the counter on more than one visit. Very unfortunate.
