Wait in a terrible long line to buy this soda to be told there was a $50 minimum purchase to get this price ... There was nothing on the price tag and was NO SIGN anywhere in the store declaring this.. the cashier said well its in the newspaper both the cashier and manager were super obnoxious about it ...and its not like $2.66 a 12-pack is that great of a price for soda anyway.... arrrggghh Safeways are just so darn frustrating! ~Long lines, ~Bait and Switch pricing (stupid restriction on sale prices, app only prices and specials that NEVER work, and wrong prices on the shelf), ~Limited selection outside of their questionable quality Safeway Select ~Insanely high prices on produce

I am within walking distance from this store and every time that I give them a try I am disappointed. They are always out of stuff or they do not carry it at all. I always have to go to another store to complete my list which is inconvenient. The older gentleman at the deli counter has the personality of sour ham. He is rude and acts like you are bothering him. I have found myself apologizing to him for placing a sandwich order. There are a couple of nice cashiers and Trudy at Starbucks is awesome but otherwise this store needs a MAJOR overhaul before I will shop there again. I would rather drive a couple of miles to do my shopping than start here and end up at Frys to complete my list.

I typically only go to this Safeway when its convenient (usually late at night) because this store usually doesnt have the items Im looking for, or seem to carry the brands I want. UPSIDE: I had a pleasant experience with the cashier today, DESTINI . She greeted me with a smile, asked if I found everything okay, and asked if I needed help out. Mostly she used my name (from the receipt) as she said goodbye. THE STARS ARE FOR HER AND THE EXPERIENCE NOT THE PRODUCTS THE STORE PROVIDES!

A grocery store from the chain Safeway stores which is in west Chandler and the closest supermarket to us. Like other branches it has almost everything people need including a drug store. The quality of what they carry is good but there is a slight price difference compared to other stores which may be due to distance but otherwise it cannot be explained. On the other hand it is a shopping convenience for all who live around this area and are far from other central stores.

The service here was horrible. This Safeway is only a mile from my home so I gave them a try again. The cashier was not helpful and the cs rep and manager were even worse. The manager argued with my husband over an issue that should not have been that big of a deal. I will never shop at this Safeway again, now if I have to go to a Safeway I will drive a few miles to the Ray/McQueen branch where the service is much better.

This store gets worse and worse every time I come. Flys over fruit. Rotten produce on display. I had to walk out the last time. The employee i talked to wasnt familiar with where things were located in the store. They are the only store that carries Prude brand that my kids like and now I wont even go for that. Its over priced and I hope it closes.

Starbucks was great!!! Food was the quality I would expect from Safeway and ALL the employees were pleasant. If you have higher expectations than go to stores that cater too your illusional social status such as sprouts, trader joes, and AJs fine foods. As far as regular grocery stores go Safeway is awesome! Oh and Walmart sucks!

I love that me and my wife can walk there from where we live. People there are always so nice and if they are out of something theyll let you know when theyll get it in. Theyve also improved by being quicker to open a second register for when it gets busy

Thought Id give safeway a chance again since it was the closest grocery store. Same experience as always, bad selection, over priced, and lack of available employees. Leaving here buying nothing and heading to the Frys or Winco. What a waste of time.

Customer service has really improved a lot in the past 5 years Ive been going to this location, the store is generally clean and you dont get bothered at the door by anyone my only issue right now is that they dont carry push pops

Employees are always kind, store is always clean, never crowded BUT not well stocked not very large variety and a little pricey. However they do have a large selection of healthy, organic & or natural whole foods

Shopping here is a big game, I have a Safeway card but now they are playing "U" connect, you have to download an app and then and items to your card to get the sale price, screw that, go to WinCo.

The workers are friendly, and the store carries what I need. Its never so busy that I cant get in and out quickly, and the location is good for a quick stop. Good store with good people.

They always have good sales but sometimes run out of stock which can be a bit annoying. Also for some reason finding a cart or basket can sometimes be difficult

The store is clean and modernly decorated. There is a starbucks here. The prices arent really all that impressive unless something is on sale.

I live close by and its my first choice of grocery stores to get my daily necessities. Airways clean and has a helpful staff.

Decent store. No self checkout, and all registers are in one side, so parking on the other entrance makes you walk way further.
