Bad Customer Service Experience. I just experience something very bad, heartless and rude. There was a poor, black guy getting Chinese food, such as orange chicken and noodles for lunch. He was missing 59 cents. The fat, ugly Chinese cashier with the glasses was so mean and rude to him. The poor guy said I only have $4 and the guy took the food away from him and told him. there is nothing for $4, you are missing 59 cents. the Black guy was starting to walk away and the Chinese, fat cashier was about to throw the food away instead of selling it for $4 dollars. I called the Black guy and told him that I will pay for the difference. then when the guy left, I TOLD THE FAT KID OFF. I told him that he was extremely rude, unprofessional and you dont do that to some poor person that is hungry and needs to eat, the guy is not begging for food or money. He was just short of money, Cents to be exact. The Chinese kid told me, well Im not a manager all rude. I told him, then in a situation like that just Call your manager and explain the situation that the guy is short 59 cents. offer some options. You prefer to throw away the food, then be nice to a person for once? He called his manager and you know what the manager/owner told me? Well, he was missing 59 cents plus taxes. REALLY? That is service? Is not like there are always people missing some cents. I told him, I have less money than you and I took care of the cents for the guy. He didnt say anything. What makes me more mad is that the Fat, Ugly Chinese kid with glasses was just laughing. I told him off. I told him you are such a **FUKCK Ass*HKDH I used to go there all the time but after this. Im not coming back ever again.

When i first started going to this place it was when i moved here 12 yrs ago. I used to love it. Every year the quality has deteriorayed. The produce looks "tired." The employees seem disinterested. The stock is depleted. The wei chuan and menlo eggroll wrappers were sold out. How are you sold out of a FROZEN product! The dry goods are also absurdly expensive. There is no reason 1 pkg of nong shim noodles should be 1.29 here but .79c at food city. Stooop. I only went here to grab eggrolls and green beans while i was out. Next time i will just make the drive to Mesa. I am sad to see a once great store fall apart.

Its okay as far as Asian supermarket products go.. they have a pretty large selection of everything. All the processed fish in the fish department looked old and frozen. The ones packed in the live tank were on the brink of death. We tried a few of the desserts on the baked goods display case. The pastry on the ones we bought tasted old and chewy like leftover pasta. The gentleman was kind enough to refuse to sell us another dessert after looking at it and deciding it wasnt fit for consumption. Not a very pleasant experience.

I always enjoy the Ranch Market, with its huge variety of fresh fish and meat. I always pick up salmon and flying fish roe, and sometimes a little fresh octopus. The live fish tanks are kind of neat, and they often have frogs and crabs as well. The in-store deli is good and while mostly stock fast food Chinese it does have some more unusual and tasty offerings such as BBQ goose. Pricing is good and I have always found the staff to be helpful and pleasant.

Inside Chinese Cultural Center (cannot miss it, as it has a traditional chinese arquitecture). Large supermarket with asian foods. Great selection of chinese teas, as well as groceries from asian countries and also others like Mexican food (not asian). When in Phoenix, this is one of the largest asian food supermarkets (when in Chandler area, on Dobson rd. there are others: Mekong Plaza, Asiana and Lee Lee International Market).

Most things have English labels or writing on them for non Chinese speakers. Fun place to wander around but if youre going to buy stuff you should really know what youre looking for. Bubble tea is decent. A lot of the hot foods are a bit spicy. Bakery is really good. Prices arent too bad either but if you get a lot of stuff it can get expensive fast. Also there is a ton of parking and it is almost never busy.

Very much like chinatown. Borderline unorganized, full of amazing stuff, staff that has no idea what youre talking about 1/2 the time. Its just as good as any chinatown grocer. Vegetables are not a good as a real chinatown market, but its hard to get these in the Southwest. Bottom line, its a BIG, REAL chinese market in Phoenix. I dont think you have much other choice.

Good selection of fish both frozen and fresh, asian produce, and imported beer. It is a cultural experience, plan on spending an hour here as some items require translation. Most noodles cook similarly to ours, and probably quicker. It is also less expensive, I got a live 5lb lobster for $25.00.

The staff is rude and unhelpful. Very distasteful product. Might as well go get some sushi from mcdonalds because thats what youre going to find here. Did I mention multiple members of the staff will not help at all?! That is if they even acknowledge your presence... Manager is VERY uneducated.

Theres an abundance of Asian items, but the store is a bit run down, and the shelves are badly stocked. If youre looking for a wide variety of items, you MIGHT be in luck, or you might not. On par with other Ranch Markets in town, just with an overflowing mishmash of Asian items.

Great produce. Not a fan of Asian cuisine, but generally I come here to pick up foreign ingredients. This store is a great supplier of exotic fruits. Although, staff is very friendly but can be hostile towards those whom they find suspicious. Their moon cakes are the bomb.

This place is amazing. The BEST of everything in quality and price. So many choices so little time. I found Tumeric and Gogi berries in bulk at half the price. Open ur mind to a new adventure in shopping. Foods that feed the body and brain and more....L.Phx

I shop here specifically for rice, soy sauce, pretty much anything I need when it comes to Asian cooking. They have practically everything you need. large bags of rice, liter bottles of soy sauce, anything and everything. You name it, they got it.

Really nothing like it in Phoenix. I know theres an Asian market in the East Valley but for Phoenix proper this is far and away the biggest and best Asian market. I shop here at least once a week and probably half of my groceries come from Ranch.

This place has an absolutely amazing selection of Asian Cuisine, extremely authentic. And has a Live fish selection which is not easy to come by in Phoenix. Make sure you try the Taiwanese Pan Cakes on your way out, youll thank me later.
