Terrible experience. Simply asked customer service to check a gift card balance pre purchase. When I was handled by the tier 1 service representative, I was told it was impossible. Mind you, this is the 3rd store I called to have this done. The previous 2 were happy to do it and one of them actually resolved my issue. This store in question though, after the poor customer service was received, I asked to be escalated and asked for the representatives name. She laughed, huffed, and I got put on hold. 5 minutes later, I was disconnected. I immediately called back, got the same representative who I asked to simply pass me to her manager, and she under her breath said, "again." At no point did I give her reason to be pissy. I was calm and cool, and the request of mine was easily fulfilled in 60 seconds at each other store. I then am received by a very non personal "yeah" from the manager. I give her the run down, she says we cant do that. I say its crap for the other stores were able to complete my simple request. She escalated the situation by raising her voice a considerable level, becoming frantic. I believe the tier 1 passed me to another tier 1 as it sounded as if I was still at the customer service desk. The level of professionalism with this "manager" was non existent. For the record, you cant check the balance on a gift card. You have to make a purchase for a balance to propagate. I will continue to shop at whole foods as I have for years, but steer far clear from this store. I would file a legitimate complaint but both representatives refused to tell me their names.

When I moved to Arizona from California, This is the Saver Place for me and Heaven on the Earth Like to me in Arizona. Having Whole Foods everywhere near to you with in 15 min travel in CA, Bay area. But that is not the situation in Arizona. Arizona doesnt have many Whole Foods and all Whole Foods doesnt carry the Milk Brand CLOVER. We feed our baby CLOVER milk only all the time and we used to get that from Costco initially but Costco stopped it and then we started buying it from Whole Foods and other stores in CA. However when we moved to Arizona, CLOVER services are very limited places in Arizona like this is the only place in Arizona where clover deliver their milk and that to on Special Order. They Offer Case Discount on milk bottles when you buy bulk ( as i live 40 miles away from this location, i buy 7 to 8 gallons at a time and they apply 10% case discount.) Which is not the case in Regular Whole Foods locations. The Staff is very trained and inform me on time and regularly about my delivery times on the special order i made.

This store would be fine if they had a good Wi-Fi connection, but they dont. Ive mentioned it to the ladys working the registers at the front of the store, but they dont seem to care. Also, the checkout ladys at this store seem more than a little bit "old-fashioned". Not the type of people youd normally expect to meet at a Whole Foods store. Also, the community bulletin board is hidden at the back of the store, near the restrooms, and whoevers in charge of it simply takes everything down anytime someone from the community puts something up. Why have a community bulletin board at all? Youre not supporting the community. People want to share. I want to connect with other progressive people in the community. Theres no space to do it. If you ask me, this store has the name Whole Foods on the front of it, but its not being operated in the spirit of the Whole Foods Brand.

We shop here and the north scottsdale mayo blvd WFs. There is something about the PV Store (the people) which keep us coming back. S Last Sunday we were in and Lisa in Prepared Foods was ever helpful. I was looking at whole rotisserie chickens and she came over and shared her input and then offered my a barrier package as these chickens are hot. She did not have to do this, yet it was truly appreciated. My favorite person here is Cindy at Checkout. I call her Smiley as she is so very pleasant and smiling ALL the time. When we returned home, I noticed my wallet was missing. I called the store and asked for Cindy. She asked me to hold and came back a very long 5 minutes later to say she had gone out in the hot weather and searched where my car had been parked. About that time, my wife found my wallet in my car. Yet Cindy and Lisa had really made the visit quite memorable.

I decided to go to this location as another location in the area was small and had almost no vegan hot bar items (except for broccoli). I was very pleased with my decision, because this location had an average sized hot and salad bar. They probably had the most vegan options Ive seen at a Whole Foods hot bar. There were still non-vegetarian items, and most of the vegan items were vegetable dishes which would be sides for meat eaters so everyone should be satisfied. The pizza bar didnt have any vegan pizza prepared, but the cashier I had told me I could order one and they will make it! Theres a nice selection of prepared vegan desserts. All of the vegan items they have are in addition to full departments of non-vegan things. Also, the employees at this location are pleasant, friendly, and helpful.

I was asked to pick up a red bell pepper. So, I head over to Whole Foods Market. Great, they have a bunch of them... Whoa! $7 a pound for a red bell pepper? Im shocked. "Goodness, thats a lot of money.", I muse to the produce guy. Then I get indignant. So, in my best Chris Rock impersonation I say: "What kind of bulls**t are you running here? A bell pepper for seven dollars? What, is there something inside the pepper? There some kind of prize in the pepper? Is it like a big old Cracker-Jack pepper? What the f**ks in the pepper? How about I give you a buck-fifty, and you hollow me out one of those Braeburn apples?" -Cheap Pete

This was the first Whole Foods I ever visited, and it pretty much sold me on the whole chain. They have a wonderful selection of healthy products that are often not only really tasty but locally sourced. You can tell they really go out of there way to emphasis health not only of the body but of local economy of where they are positioned. But what sold me the most on Whole Foods was the customer service, everyone is very nice. Its a place I have visited again and again, I would recommend it to anyone that cares not only about what they eat, but where it is sourced as well.

Whole Foods is just kind of sad any more. The staff was never as friendly as the Trader Joes staff, and now you can go over to the beautiful big bright Frys and get most of the things you went looking for here (your favorite gluten free this or thats or a tingly Kombucha). And its not near this corner, and its not organic, but if you want readymade cooked food at the grocery - its really worth it to get to your nearest AJs. Those chefs are great.
