Pros: 1. Carries diverse choice of groceries, snacks, frozen foods and vegetables. 2. Shelves hard-to-find products from Sri Lanka, India, Nepal. Cons: 1. Some of the products are untried and new. Its usually a hit or miss. Check the prices before buying. If its too high, its usually not worth a try! 2. Sometimes, If you do like a new product and go next time to buy, either it is not available or the price has been jacked up by a dollar or two, since its been proven to be fast moving. There are no standard pricing. 3. You will find products with NO price tags! On those items, the cashier determines the price according to the customer. Check the price with the cashier before you buy it. I would suggest you to stay away from those items. 4. Ask for the itemized bill. Sometimes, they dont provide it, unless asked. Check your bill. They make mistakes. You may be paying more or getting billed for an item that you havent purchased. 5. This goes for all the Indian grocery shops: CHECK the expiry dates on the items. There will be some items that are way past expiry dates or close to that. Some will not carry expiry dates at all! Stay away from those items. You will have no way of knowing how old they are. I get a feeling that the store owners are not too enthusiastic about removing those items. Be an Alert Buyer!

There are many Indian stores in SLC but this is best as you can get all the Indian spices and fresh vegetables available all the time at the store. They even sell fresh goat meat every friday. Owner is very friendly and helpful and his wife runs a beauty Parlour in the shop itself so its a plus for all the ladies who go there for shopping. I get satisfied whenever I go to store cause I get all the stuff at one place only. Store is always very clean. So whoever is there in SLC or moving to SLC do visit Namaste Naglo:)

Love this store - convenient location, one-stop shop for many things, including fresh indian groceries, packaged items, fresh non-veg including goat meat, fish and chicken. Also has a beauty parlour cum indian boutique attached, and run by the wife - great in-style collections, and good service. Love the ambience in this place - very courteous owner and family, friendly and helpful. If you are new to the city, be sure to drop by - the place has a very good connect with local indian / nepali community as well.

Its a really cool store, where you can find all the high quality authentic Asian food from basically all of the countries around Asia. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And the plus side is that you can find really good threading artist, who does an amazing job for the 1/4 th of a price you can get it done at the mall. She is great, very skilled at what she does. Give it a try. Highly recommend this store.

The store has Nepalese origin, but covers products from India and Sri Lanka as well. Its rarely that I find an Indian store in Utah like this one, with everything that I need. We even found rare delicacies ready to eat(dried prawns spiced mixture, for those who know). To top it off, the store owner was pleasant and was ready to get stuffs that he may not have.

it is a store where you can find most of the basic things that you need for cooking Indian food and prices are okay. not so expensive. the cashiers are not so friendly but at the same time not so rude also. it is kind of like "I dont care :)". the place is dull and dirty most of the times but it is okay to go if you dont have any other options nearby.

He has a better inventory than most other Indian grocery stores in SLC. Be watchful when he is billing though, as there is no clarity on the items purchased and they are simple termed as Grocery1, Grocey2 etc.. on the bill. Anyday better than India Foods.
