About a year and a half ago I visited this store upon the recommendation of a friend, who had bought his phone there and really liked the place. I got a new phone, signed a new 2 year contract, good stuff. The sales person really pushed the esecuritel insurance, which was a few more dollars per month and had a higher deductible than the standard insurance. The benefits of this plan was that instead of being mailed a phone if it breaks, one simply goes to the Verizon store and is given a brand new one, instead of a refurbished phone. I asked what would happen if they didnt have my phone. He said that I would be given something comparable or the next model up. That sounded great to me so I signed up. Fast forward to about a week ago. My phone broke and I needed to use my insurance, so I went back to the Verizon store. The sales person tried to sell me a new phone on their new finance plan. I was curious about it when he said it might be cheaper than the insurance deductible, but did not have my billing password, so I would have to come back. I returned a few days later with the required information, let them talk to me about their new plan, and ultimately decided against it at that time. I had paid for the insurance, so I might as well use it. I was told that they did not have my model in stock and it would have to be ordered. I explained that when I signed up for it I was told that if they didnt have my phone that I would get a comparable model that was in stock. He said this was untrue, that they would have to order my model and have it shipped to the store. At this point I felt betrayed and taken advantage of and had to leave the store because I was so angry. One of the only reasons I agreed to spend more money was because the previous sales person guaranteed that I would leave the store with a phone. I would just file the claim over the phone and have it sent to me at home so I wouldnt have to make another needless trip back out there. At least I was still going to get a new phone, and that cooled the fires a little. Or so I thought. I got home and called esecuritel to file my claim, pay my deductible, and have a new phone shipped to me. At the end of our conversation, the claims specialist read a series of disclaimers and notices, one of which was that they cannot guarantee that the phone I will receive is new, it may be refurbished. Which actually means that Ill only get a new phone if they dont have any refurbs. Wait... So Ive basically paid a higher monthly rate and a higher deductible from the standard insurance and have received no discernible benefit. Sounds like a scam to me. The long and short of it is that all of the sales people seem very friendly and helpful but dont be fooled by their caring veneers. Underneath lies the cold calculating eyes of a shark lurking in wait for its next victim, willing to do whatever they need to do the tell a phone.

I went into this store on a Monday, incredibly frustrated, with my daughters phone that crashed and my husbands phone that was pretty much no good...and Christopher Page greeted me with a smile. I have to say this was the most pleasant experience I have EVER had at a Verizon store and I have been a customer for about 16 or so years. Chris was very patient with me, explained everything in detail in a way that I could understand, sometimes a couple of times, and gave me two hours of his time. I did not feel rushed or pressured. He genuinely was looking out for our best interest, meaning the difference we were paying to what we could be paying and have new products. He saved me a bunch of money on my set up and my monthly bill. I ended up upgrading 3 iphones and adding a line for my son and I was out of there. I had a few questions a couple of days later on how the phone worked, etc, he agreed to meet me at the store, by appt, fixed the little bugs and was on my way in 15 minutes. I completely and highly recommend not only this store but Christopher Page as the consultant. He has apparently been in this line of work for years and definitely has a customer service friendly and helpful demeanor. I would have no hesitation in returning to this store for future sales.

Daughter went into this location with a screen protector that was purchased through Verizon, but because it wasnt bought through their location, they refused to put it on, even though they are a full retail Verizon store. Jason, who is the team leader was rude to her. This is unacceptable especially when they are supposed to be providing service to Verizon customers. If you are not going to provide a service, then this location does not need to be there and under the Verizon name. Your business protocol sucks and I will make sure I put out word not to do business at this location. And Jason, you need better customer service training!

My wife and I recently went to this store to try to get some help with a hardware issue. not only was the salesmen extremely rude, but he had no interest in helping us with our issue. we were brushed off and the entire situation we are actually leaving Verizon wireless because of this incident. I recommend going to another sales location in the future.

Was running errands in the Fairfield area and stopped into the Verizon Wireless store. Robert was extremely helpful! He listened to my issues, investigated as far as he could and then referred me on to someone who could resolve my issue. I would not hesitate to stop there again and recommend it to anyone needing Verizon assistance.

I had the easiest experience since I purchased my first cell phone many years ago! The sales associate Sean was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and everything about the phone and the service was accurate, no surprises. I foresee myself being a long term customer and I am very glad I made the switch from my other carrier!

We had a GREAT experience at Verizon today buying our new iPhones. Sean L was extremely helpful and very personable. All of our questions were answered and seamless process. No wait and the accessories we needed were there. Highly recommend this store in Hampton Roads.

I have never heard so many customer service personnel say "I cant." Multiple occasions I have asked to stop receiving a Verizon bill for an account I have never owned. For "Americas number one provider" I am disappointed in there ability to address issues.

I always have a great experience at this store. I live closer to one of Verizon own stores but avoid it to come to this location. Jason is our go to person as he always takes time to answer all of our questions. I always recommend this store and Jason.
