Have your mechanic check the vehicle!! I dont know how the vehicle I purchased would pass inspection (which it did the day before I bought it at Courtesys own shop). The vehicle I purchased had a lean fuel code stored in the ECU, which by law without repairs can NOT pass inspection! I didnt even make it home without the TPMS lights coming on and the transmission slipping. I called Courtesy and they said they would take care of it, which here we are 3 weeks later and I still havent gotten into their shop. The power steering chirps/ squeals, the AC compressor constantly cycles on and off, and there seems to be bad a idler arm/ tie rod. Just fishy that dry rotted tires and a vehicle with fuel/ emissions issues can pass inspections. I asked five times if there is anything wrong with the vehicle and was told "No, we inspect each and every vehicle before we sell it, and perform all repairs." All I want is them to stand by their 3000 mile/ 3 month warranty. I started looking for another vehicle to replace my car, I was going to go to Courtesy, but not after all this. They have very good reviews because they give out gift cards to everyone who leaves a review. Have your mechanic check the vehicle before purchasing!!! What good is a warranty if they wont stand behind it? **update** they did get me in for service and did fix the transmission control module, which Im very happy with that. AC Compressor still cycles on and off (maybe thats normal, but doesnt seem to be), I need new front brakes less than 1,800 miles later, rear tires bald/ dry rotted (no way these passed inspection 1,800 miles ago) and the belt still chirps/ squeeks, check engine light comes on/ off at random and idles rough at red lights. I think its time I bite the bullet and take it to a shop other than Courtesy, since last time they fixed 2 out of 5 items and had the car for over a week.

*using a fake name for confidentiality purposes* I have been with courtesy auto for 5 years and every encounter with them is a headache. These people have no respect for their customers and could care less if you lived or died. I was behind on a payment and instead of being lenient with me, they shut my car off while I was at work. I am a mother of two as well as a full time student so you can understand how much of inconvenience this was for me. *PSA* If you ever run into any type of hardship dont expect this place to show you any kind of compassion or basic human decency. My car loan is 445.00$ a month, mind you Im in a used, older model car. My question is: Why am I paying so much ? every time I try to renegotiate with them about the amount they turn me away. The reason this place has such nice reviews is because after they lure you in they ask you to give them a good review; 5 months down the road they are beating you over the head and hounding you for money. These people are worst than student debt collectors. If you are one day behind be prepared to be met with a barrage of text messages demanding payment. a lot of people dont have good credit and we go to use car places because we dont have any other choice in obtaining transportation. These places exploit poor people and those of us who dont have many resources or alternatives. I think if they treated people kinder and stop being so greedy and elitist they wouldnt have so many people defaulting on their loans or looking to refinance through other companies. do yourself a favor and look for other options when it comes to buying a car. Courtesy auto should be your last stop.

The worst experience Ive ever had, where do I start. 3 years ago when I bought my 05 trailblazer I was over charged at $9,000 for a car that blue books at $2,000 dollars. They said there were new breaks on the car, 2 weeks later my breaks came off and the caliper that holds it in place also came off. (I fixed it) when I went back to get my "free inspection" they said my aftermarket headlights (which came with the car) had to be replaced...... after running back between their shop and dealership explaining how they sold me the car with illegal headlights they decided to rip out and replace with whatever was sitting around I guess. They did not work and I had to repair myself. Oh and after that I wasnt able to get my "free" inspection anymore because of a small crack in my window that doesnt violate any known Virginia laws........I have to get my inspection elsewhere........ honestly I feel like buying a car from a shady dealership was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. All I wanted to do was build credit. And instead it has put me behind and will never do business with a third party dealership ever again. And after I made this review the owner, Dan, calls me and threatened to sue me if I did not take my review down. Id like to encourage everyone to not be intimidated by this unprofessional. Speak your mind and dont let people take advantage of you. Dan... If youre looking for a good deal on a used car, enterprise takes better care of their vehicles than anyone because they are liable. And they give you better deals. I wish there was an option for zero stars. Follow me on Instagram FITCHTATTOOS

Courtesy Auto Sales fits the name for the dealer perfectly! I had been searching for a vehicle for quite some time and no other dealer made me feel so comfortable. During my search I met many rude, pushy, inconsiderate, inpatient and unkind salesmen, Due to that I became very agitated and discouraged and finding a vehicle that I could afford and even doing business with any dealer. However, Courtesy Auto Sales won me over simply from speaking to Wade Edwards over the telephone. Wade Edwards was very professional and enthused about scheduling me an appointment to come in to speak with him about purchasing a vehicle. Although, Wade wasnt available when I arrived; Steve Slider was a very great salesmen who did not hesitate to assist me during my visit. Steve Slider was very patient and did not mind taking the time to sit with me to gather the appropriate information needed to get the process started. Sherry Ballard was also very pleasant, informative and showed compassion in trying to help me! I really appreciate the fact that Steve Slider and Sherry Ballard took the time to sit down and thoroughly go over my credit application while trying to work with me and find the best financing for me. Im pleased with my purchased and would recommend anyone to buy from Courtesy Auto Sales. The buying experience is one that will always be remembered!!!! Thanks a LIFETIME COURTESY AUTO SALES TEAM!!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!

Cannot say enough about the service here. I have a unique situation for financing and Steve and Chuck took amazing care of me, making sure they could work with me before having me come down. Once I got there, they told me my warranty wouldnt transfer and gave me the paperwork on their extended warranty, but recommended I shop around first to see if I could get a better deal. Super awesome honesty. When finalizing the paperwork, I saw something in Chucks office that I loved and complimented him on it and he gave it to me as a gift. They also needed to clean my car and install something in it so they gave me a comparable loaner for the night. When I got home, I realized that I had lost $220. I knew it must have fallen out of my pocket when getting my down payment together. I panicked and called Chuck who answered the phone addressing me by name and he immediately asked if I had lost something. I told him I had lost my money and he told me he was about to call me because they had found it in my chair and he would hold it for me until I could get back up there tomorrow. Not at all what you would expect from a used car dealership, but this really doesnt seem to be your typical dealership. Id give more stars if I could and recommend this place to anyone looking for an honest dealership to buy a used car from. Top notch all the way. And Bailey (the dog in the lobby) was even sweet too!
