“I live in Raleigh and recently decided to purchase a motorcycle. While Team-PS was never on my radar initially(I was looking at a BMW), a manufacturer recall on the motorcycle I wanted made me change my mind and go for a 600 vs a 1000. I was browsing dealerships around the RTP area and came about the Team-PS website. So half-hearted as I was, I made a casual trip to the dealership on a Saturday and met Lee. I told him what I was looking for and he showed me around the showroom and let me decide on which make/model I wanted. While I still hadnt made my mind that I wanted a 600 vs a 1000, I browsed around the showroom and came across a used R6. While I liked the R6, I wasnt particularly fond of the color I saw. One would expect the sales folks to jump on a customer trying to get a sale, but Lee patiently explained the bikes condition etc. He also showed me a couple of bikes that I didnt look at initially. Since I hadnt really made up my mind, I told Lee that I would come back in a couple of days with a direction I wanted to go. I was glad to notice that they were not being pushy at all. After looking up various models on their website, I stumbled upon the Green Ninja! I was instantly attracted to it. I browsed a few more websites to find that the Ninja zx6r was the 2011 supersport shootout champion. So the next day I set out to discuss the direction I wanted to take. I arrived at the showroom and Lee was glad that I had selected the Ninja. He helped me fill out the paper work and since I was applying for finance, had to wait for a bit. Due to the primary lender not accepting my paperwork, Lee came over and mentioned that it didnt work out with the primary but they would try and get through with their secondary lender. But I had to return home empty. The week began and I got a prompt call from Lee the very next day and he let me know that they still hadnt heard back from the lender and he would call back as soon as he heard from the lender. Just as he said, I got a call the very next morning that the paperwork went through and I was ready to get my bike. Due to my hectic work schedule I decided that Friday would be the best day so I made a small upfront payment and mentioned that I would be there Friday. Through the week I got prompt calls on getting the bike ready, questions about the paperwork and so on. I finally made it to the showroom on Friday and they had all my paperwork ready to go. The bike prepped and waiting for me. I met the Finance manager Cathy who was very detailed in the paperwork. After a nice conversation and a few signatures I was ready to roll. Lee had set me up with a buddy in the parts department who had the helmet of choice ready to go and within an hour or so of me arriving at the showroom, I was gearing up to hit the roads. Overall this is one of the few dealerships I have been to in my life where nobody was pushy for sales. They did not try to force a product I did not want and were very helpful in me taking a decision. Lee was totally helpful throughout the process and I never felt pressurized at any point. Cathy was very detailed and organized with the paperwork and helped me understand the details. This was definitely a 5 star experience and I am not proud to be a Ninja owner and I am glad to have bought it from team powersports. ”

I bought a 50cc moped from these guys. First of all it was like going into a car dealership. The prices on the showroom floor were marked way up and then they added almost $500 dollars of extra dealer fees on top of the shown price. Do not even attempt to buy something here if you are not ready to bargain. Personally, I bargained my way down to a decent price for a slightly used moped (less that 200 miles). I thought all was good until about 2 months later when it stopped running. Ironically they had given me a 1 month warranty. When I started to really look at the bike to try and fix the problem I noticed that there were many bolts missing from the frame and the battery cover. Nothing dangerous but just not legitimate. When I took it in for repairs I was expecting to have it diagnosed and then fix it myself once I knew what the problem was. After about a day in the shop they identified the problem and told me that the part was under warranty. Needless to say I was very happy. I waited over a week for a call from them to tell me the bike was fixed and finally gave them call. They told me the bike had been fixed a few days before and for some reason they neglected to call me. I took my bike home in the back of my truck and when got it home it started, then died. I started it again and it died again. I could get it to run for a few minutes but then it kept dying. It was at this point that I took it back to the service shop. They charged my $98 this time and again neglected to call when it was finished. This time i tried to run it at the shop and it had the exact same problem. It would start and die. I sat there with the mechanics and they had no idea what the problem was and yet I was still paying $98 for their services. They offered to keep it a few more days to charge me a few more dollars, but I thought Id try my luck doing it myself. When I got it home I replaced the coil and the thing ran just fine. So heres the really bad part. About two weeks after my second trip to the shop I get a call from them telling me that the bike wasnt actually under warranty the first time and that I owed them money! Over a month after I had the work done, they really didnt do a whole lot to fix my bike and if they hadnt told me it was under warranty the first time I would have done the work myself for free I would think a reputable business would have recognized their mistake and taken responsibility for their actions. Well, not these guys. They pass their mistakes on to their customers. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the service I received at Team Power Sports in Garner. I would not recommend that you buy from them unless you like trying to bargain.

After speaking to the service department to swap out a set of factory chrome rims I was told it would b a $100 dollars. .when I get there of course its 2 hours till closing time but I wouldnt even have drove up there if the service guy didnt tell me his guys could get to it...mechanics come out look at the rims and the bike...wheels already have bearings and sleeves ...sooo all that has to be put on is the rotors and tires .... told the service guy that from the beginning .... $100 dollars he says....now back to the mechanics why 2 had to come out I dont know...I guess one cant work without the other. ...so they tell me they can do it....I say ok....follow them back in side. ...service guy says it will be a 4 hour job...and we charge a $100 dollars a hour.....ahhhhh no......if the mechanics didnt want to do it then they should of said so....but they gave me a high price...so they can start there weekend early ...but wait they work on Saturday? .....who ever owns team powersports.....work more on helping people not f@#×ing them over ...but I went to another dealer next day....got it done for $150.....but this is what you get when you deal with a business that has people that know there jobs ...verses want a be harley riders and someone that looks like they slept in a tub of beer....and I had to give a star or it wouldnt let me post...lol....what a f@#king joke
