I cant speak to the sales department but as for the service department...never have I had a worse experience. I fix everything on my motorcycle but for this I felt I could use an opinion of a dealer. Brought bike in to have valves checked and re-shimmed as well as throttle bodies synced. I specifically told the service manager that i was experiencing handlbar and foot peg vibrations that were a sudden onset and had never been there before. i was told the enire job would take a week and I would receive a phone call as to when the work was done and my bike was ready to pick up. One week goes by so I called for an update...was told they hadmt even looked at it yet and that they would call me...another week goes by so I, being upset, call for an update. Hasnt been look at still! "Youre motorcycle will be ready to pick up on a thursday they finally told me, but we will call you if anything changes. I have to call them on thursday bc i received no such call! And guess what...my bike is still not done. He tells me " We just ordered the new gasket for the top end of the motorcycle"....excuse me? You knew what the job was before I waited the month for the appointment bc you claimed that was the earliest you could get me in and yet you just ordered the new gasket? At this point, the service department was aware of what work was to be performed for over a month and had just ordered the new gasket on the day they told me bike would be ready. After being told they would contact me 4 different times and never hearing from them I finally called them and they sad i could come pick my bike up...I got there and they charged me the same price for checking the valves that i had been qouted to be " the maximum" i would pay if every valve needed adjustment"...are you fing kidding me. Whatever i just want my bike at this point. I got on it to leave and my air dam covers werent even installed on the bike...so they go get those and put them on in front of me...i hit the start button and nothing. The service manager comes over and tells me the guy that took it on a test ride used the kill switch but left the key on and my headlight drained my battery. Now im pretty convinced they never bothered to check my valves and just wrote up a fake spec sheet to "show me they were within spec"...oh and as for the original complaint about my bike i gave them being the handle bar buzz? Still there. Stay away from this garage. If you have work done there after reading endless amounts of bad reviews...then its your fault. Wish I had investigated a little further before I had brought mine there. Just because you think that bringing something to a dealer means youre dealing with professionals and may have to pay a bit more to get a high level of work done on something doesnt mean you will. I hope Honda does an undercover evaluation of this place...they will lose their contract through them.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR BIKE SERVICED HERE!!! I recentely had my brakes serviced by this shop and three days after my rear caliper broke during a ride and i wrecked my bike.I was Told that they didnt work on the caliper yet in THE job discription they said it was taken off and cleaned, which i was charged for. They Had my bike for 17 days and I rode it two days before the brake malfuctioned. When I called them they gave me road side assistance and i was told everything would be repaired and replaced. They lied. The kept my bike an aditional 27 days and left a broken rear frame cover unfixed and when i said something they said, " we tried to glue it but it didnt hold." Also they replaced my 130 dollar unlimited frame sliders with 30 dollar plastic ones. When I asked why I was told they couldnt get the part and in their parking lot I loaded a website with part availability. They flat out lied. With more than 600 dollars worth of things left wrong with the bike after the wreck they expected me to pay the full amount of the original bill. Bottom line is I lost resale value and still have to have my bike fixed. Also every job I was estimated was 100 dollars more in the end!!! Credibility gets ruined after the smallest of lies. Ad trust me this service department cannot be trusted. Specially if you own a bike that will do 180 mph!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my bike to them to have the carbs cleaned and my initial quote more than doubled. During that part of the service it was there from 7/30-8/13. When I picked it up and drove down the road the bike broke down. I called for them to come tow it back and they swore they test drove it and it was fine, making me feel like an idiot. They kept it there to look at and it wasnt until 8/24 that it was finally "fixed" according to them. I drove it to Vermont and back shortly after and knew something was still off because the bike was idling at 4000 RPMs whenever Id stop but they swear it is an unrelated issue and will not fix what they already started. Funny thing is that in the repair order it states "Found the idle to be high - 3600 to 4200 RPMs. Inspected the carb assembly for air leaks. Found air leaks at the intake boots, cylinder side…" SOUNDS RELATED TO ME. It will cost you an arm and a leg at this place because the labor hours alone add up since they arent sure what theyre doing. To add to it, not only had I purchased this bike from them in 2006 but I mistakenly purchased a new bike from them just weeks before this whole mess. I regret having given them my business.

I bought my first bike (a 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900) from this shop almost 3 years ago. The sales staff were helpful and gave me a great price on the bike, service staff did excellent work on the bike during regular maintenance and got my bike patched up and running like new after an accident. Last November I bought a Triumph Rocket 3 from them, and my experiences have been similarly great. Sales folks were friendly and helpful, but its the service department that sets them apart. The folks in service (particularly Andy, but all the staff have been great) have had endless patience looking up parts for me, answering my newbie questions and helping me to put together a couple of mods for my bike. Despite my almost daily calls and what Im sure has felt like constant pestering, Andy has been willing to give me information and advice over the phone and in person at the shop. Ive seen nothing but great attitude, extremely helpful and friendly customer service, efficient turnaround and top notch work come out of Canandaigua Motorsports and I am happy to turn to them whenever I need work done.

Wow so impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable Meagan in the Service Dept is. I came in 20 minutes before closing on a Saturday asking if any techs could double check my clutch as I knew it had too much free play and what oil changes cost. Without any hesitation, or any condescending remarks or how theyre closing soon, she walks out to my bike and adjusts it on the spot. Utterly impressed! She said her and another co-worker talk about adjusting their free play on their bikes all the time as each person will like a slightly different feel. Thats what I needed was to get it into spec so I could feel it and then get used to that adjustment. Asked her about doing oil changes and just was so pleasant and awesone to deal with compared to another shop locally. Will be doing all my business and future sales here.
