I have been looking around for a few weeks looking for a FZ-10 that just came out this year. The problem being they were mostly overpriced. I finally found Romney Cycles selling this bike brand new for well under the book value. I called and spoke to Spencer who helped me reserve the color I wanted and make the arrangements to go pick up the bike. I got a truck and trailer and headed up there from NC to go get the bike. I arrived and started going through the process filling out all the paperwork I needed to do. Spencer was very pleasant to work with and made the whole process smooth. He even walked me outside to the bike and showed me all the features it had and how to work them. Doug the finance manager was awesome to work with as well. He had all my paperwork ready to go and notarized several documents for me at the dealership that I would have paid to do at the DMV back home. Doug made everything really easy and even agreed to forward any more paperwork over if I was missing anything. Spencer let me ride the bike around the parking lot behind the building to get a feel for it since it was different than what I used to ride. Spencer helped me load the bike onto the trailer and sent me on my way. I was very pleased with the whole process and I wouldnt purchase another bike through anyone else. I urge anyone looking for a bike to go check this dealership out. They have a huge selection and the staff is really friendly. It also helped I already had my financing which made the process quick. Warning: This dealership is in the middle of nowhere literally. I didnt take the staff seriously when they told me that....they werent kidding. There is a McDonalds, a few hardware stores, and a few hole in the wall restaurants....thats it...You either have to have the bike shipped, drive it home, or go pick it up. The dealership is about an hour off of hwy 81. Its pretty remote but the dealership is really nice.

I traveled over 2 hours to get my new R1. This was my first brand new motorcycle purchase and working with the kind folks at Romney Cycles made the experience worthwhile. I had initially been scouring the local dealers for a new R1 without much luck, as they were sold out nearly everywhere. I was able to obtain quotes from these dealers should one become available. Romney Cycles came in the lowest by far. They say you get what you pay for, but this is quite the opposite with Romney Cycles. They did not have any in stock at the time I called, but they assured me I would receive a call should one become available. I did happen to receive a call a little over a month later from Brad who told me that two R1s had recently arrived at their store. I was quick to put down a deposit and plan for a weekend trip out there. Upon my arrival, I found my new bike sitting out front under the porch with a key in and a sold tag. It was a very welcome sight after the long drive there. Brad further improved on the experience providing me with a seamless transaction and a nice tutorial on the R1s features. Staff aside, I was blown away with the store and inventory. It was super clean, very large and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a used or new motor sports vehicle to check with the wonderful team at Romney Cycles. They truly add value to the experience of making a purchase.

Bottom line (up front) is that I recommend working with Romney or at least seeing what they offer. I purchased a Yamaha FZ-09 from Brad at Romney Cycles and was very happy with the experience. First off, the pricing is straight forward, with all fees included in the stated price posted online. No hidden or surprise costs were brought up at a later time. I cant talk to the other employees, but Brad was informative and straight forward about what Romney could offer without pushing me to stop in or buy immediately. Once I decided to buy, the process was quick and simple as expected from a dealer. One note about the showroom: A competitor closer to my residence commented that Romney Cycles prices were lower because they sell motorcycles "out of a barn". However, the facility at Romney is a large, fully staffed dealer with a large and modern showroom; I suppose that comment was a scare tactic to prevent me from visiting Romney.

I have purchased over 16 motorcycles in the last 8+ years. 5 bikes in 2014 alone. The dealers were in Northern WV, Southern PA, Middle PA, Eastern OH, and most recently Romney Cycles in Romney, WV. From first contact through the entire purchase process, Romney, by far was the easiest and most friendly and efficient dealership to purchase from. From the beginning, there were no issues on trade or price and the day of delivery, I simply rode my trade in, spent about an hour with paperwork, then hit the road for a great day of riding my new GSX-R750. The salesman, George, was very pleasant and professional as were everyone else I dealt with. No surprises on the pricing and smooth service throughout. While the pricing was great, the customer service was absolutely excellent! Thanks Romney Cycles! I highly recommend them - be sure to give them a call before you buy elsewhere.

I bought a 2016 YZ125 from Romney last year and they have the BEST prices and a great staff running the place. I am from SoMD which is a 3hr drive each way and I must tell you that it is worth the drive! This Saturday I am heading back up there to make another purchase. I would recommend this dealership over any other. Cant wait to see what this weekend brings to me. Update: once again, very pleased customer. Bought a 2017 Raptor 700R SE couple months ago and couldnt be happier. Definitely worth the trip, Brad was super helpful throughout the whole thing. Even loaded me up in the pouring rain and made sure I was strapped up good for the long ride home. Doug in finance was also a huge help, very friendly and just all around someone i would like to work with again. Romney Cycles is a place other companies need to strive to be like. 10/10!!!!

I was traveling with friends and at a gas stop my Honda Magna failed to start. I could bump-start it so I rode into Romney where a very helpful police officer told me about Romney Cycles, about a mile outside of town. It was mid-afternoon on a Saturday and I didnt think the service department would be open but they were there. I am from Albany, NY and needed to be back by Monday morning, so they took the bike into the shop and found that it was a broken spring and contact in the starter switch. The mechanic, Chris, somehow found a spring and re-shaped the contact so that it would work, and I was on my way in less than two hours, and the charge was a very reasonable $103. I highly recommend the shop and staff for any repairs. The showroom is also huge and it was an easy two hours with all of those bikes to look at.

I cant say enough good things about this place. I bought a bike from them in the fall of 2015, no hassle, no hidden fees, no surprises. Brad talked me through the process over the phone, held the bike for me, and had everything go through smoothly. I just went back (July 2016) and traded in for another bike. Brad was super helpful and easy to get ahold of, and even gave me an estimate of my trade via text since Im out of state.I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour on my new bike. Everyone at the dealership is extremely friendly, and Ive never had an experience buying a motorcycle or automobile be so low stress. For the record, I live in Baltimore (2.5 hour drive) and Ill never go anywhere else when I get the itch for another bike.
