So, I bought a brand new washer and dryer and all "upgraded" hoses and wires from home depot. 1. They canceled the original appointment because the dryer came in mangled. Not a huge deal but only got a half a days notice to change the time I had already scheduled to be home. 2. Showed up 2 hours before they were scheduled to be there (with only 20 minutes notice) causing my kids to have to be put into before school care. 3. Would not install them because the spigot wasnt up to their standard ("It may not work." It did before, but magically Home Depot knows it is no longer usable.) 4. Blocked my street with their delivery truck, so now my neighbors are mad at me because their kids were late to school. 5. Was told that they wouldnt install it because I bought the new hoses on my own and not from Home Depot (Did buy them all from Home Depot at the same time as the washer and dryer. Was on the receipt.) 6. Was told they wouldnt install it because I said I would install it myself after repeatedly telling them that I have no clue how to install a washer or dryer. 7. Told them to come back and get their washer and dryer for a full refund because I was done fighting with them. Now they are supposedly sending out a plumber. Will never buy anything from Home Depot again. What a nightmare.

Recently purchased carpet for our living room, hallway, and 2 flights of steps. Although the carpet looks great, the installation process was a nightmare. When told the carpet would be installed before Christmas, the installers called with an after Christmas date. We had to work through that issue by agreeing to remove the furniture from the rooms ourselves. On the day of the installation, the installers showed up late and unprepared. One had to make a trip to the store to purchase seam tape and tack strips while the other began tearing up the old carpet. In addition, I had to make a trip to the store to purchase the transitional pieces between the carpet and the tile/wood flooring - an additional $65. When the installers finished, he took several of the nails that I bought "for his next job." I feel they created a seam in the carpet that didnt need to be there. The installation took a total of 7 hours. Several cigarette buds were left on our porch, driveway and yard as the installers took several breaks throughout the process. At least they finished the job as it was 10:30pm when they finally finished.

Today I was there and got a fireplace marked down to $149 because it was "damaged", im ok with that a little damage can be fixed. I get it home and its missing 6 pieces to build it and over 30+ pieces of hardware, so i go back to get this taken care of. They had just sold the last one and there is nothing they can do but return the one i bought, there was another one of a different color sitting there so i asked if they can match the price. The "manager" said they cant do that (which i know is a lie because i had went to an orientation to work there before and was told they do anything to make customers happy) even though they sold something that is impossible to build when its missing pieces, the "manager" then told me THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME. What the hell??!! how the F can you sell someone something missing pieces to where its impossible to build??? Damaged I understand, but missing parts is just ignorant, and to top it off the lady (Susie) was very very rude.

Bought a kitchen cabinet and other home items 2 weeks ago. Price was $50 cheaper then Lowes and others. Home Depot supervisor Karl helped me load the cabinet in my SUV and was very helpful. Before that assisted with where other items we needed were. We have never been in this Cold Spring location where every team member had a smile and was 100% helpful. Thank you for saving and thank you Karl!

I saw an item pegasus medicine cabinet 24x30 on the internet and it was said i could pick it up at the store. The internet price was 141$ while at The store it was 169. The person in charge would not sell it at the internet price. I did not buy it..

As a contractor, its fine for this or that. Avoid special orders or appliance deliveries as they are most likely to be incorrect, even when ordered properly.
