Went through this company knowing they were not the least expensive, but knowing that I would want prompt service should something not be right. Refrigerator was unboxed with a dent in the stainless. Dishwasher overflowed all over the floor the first time it ran through a cycle. Overflow was addressed that day, refrigerator skin was to be replaced in a "week or so". Three weeks later no refrigerator skin and I have since noticed that when I fill the jet dry container, which should last about a month, it drains out immediately into the tub and is gone. I received amazingly unconcerned responses on the phone, was placed on a tech list for days later, and will have to take three hours out of my day to have my new dishwasher fixed. And for the three weeks I have had my new dishwasher my dishes are not at all dry after they are washed, so I have to dry them as I take them out. I tried on three occasions to get anyone knowledgeable to just trouble shoot over the phone what the problem could be to perhaps save them the service call, and me three hours on a new dishwasher, but was totally dismissed and told that I was on the list and someone would be there in a few days. I asked if they could bring the refrigerator skin at the same time to save the time investment on my part of another service call for NEW APPLIANCES, but was told it was on backorder and it would be at least 3 more weeks. I ordered two of the four kitchen appliances that I wanted to replace from Sewell, I will be ordering the remaining two from anywhere else! Same appliances which dont work out of the box as other stores, and same lousy disinterested service, just at a higher price.

Sales dept will do and say whatever it takes to sell you overpriced appliances. I bought a kitchenaid fridge that is leaking water after 2 years. Looked online and this is a widespread known problem with all whirlpool made fridges of this type. Sewell could care less that they sold me an overpriced product with a known defect (duckbill grommet on defrost drain is known defective. Whirlpool has even sent out a service bulletin and has a repair/replacement kit) Talked to Sewell service dept and they said they would do nothing but charge me $118 for a service call plus $40 for each half hour of labor. I asked why that hadnt made arrangements with whirlpool/kitchenaid to get reimbursed for repairing this defective part for their customers. He said that was up to the customer!!? If you dont mind overpaying for products and slow services then this is your place to shop....

My large cup of iced-coffee tipped over in the kitchen sending the liquid UNDER our KitchenAid Side by Side Refrigerator. My job? Clean up the mess. When I tried to move the fridge out of its "cubbyhole" - no movement. Called 1-800 and got a courteous hello, but my agent couldnt tell me how to move it. I remembered we had a GREAT experience when we bought the refrigerator and many kitchen appliances from Sewell, so I called, was immediately put in touch with Sewell technician - Joe - who walked me through the fix in a patient and informed way. Thanks Joe! Thanks Sewell! GREAT Customer Focus!

I love these guys. I hate buying kitchen appliances, but this place was the best. I told them what I wanted, and they showed me exactly that without wasting my time. Hassle free. Plus, they worked with my contractor so installation was easy. BUT the best part, is their customer service. After a part on my stovetop grill broke when I was cleaning it, not only did Sewell call me within minutes after I sent an email, but they even offered to lend me the part until the replacement part came in. No hassles. Quick email. Two minutes on the phone. Done.

Sewell is the worst company for service. I have purchased sub zero fridge and wolf range, they never once came to service my appliances. Every time I call the wait is always 1-2 weeks. They suggest to call Sterling. If I could go back I would have given Sterling appliances my business because of their outstanding customer service.

We love these guys. Have used them for years. Their service department and service techs are outstanding. Most of the techs have been with them for years. They really know their stuff. I would not buy an appliance from anyone else.
