Been a customer since the store first opened in 1991 or so. Had one of the original Bel Air Customer Cards. Had two children build careers through this store and then moving on/up in the Raleys System. My family has supported Bel Air / Raleys in numerous ways throughout the years. But recently was MOST disappointed in the new "check cashing" system. Since last November, Ive had checks denied four times. The first three times the store manager would come over and override the system and told me to call for him if it happens again. But the last time I was so angry I will do my best to put my money somewhere else. The problem is not with my checks. I have never written a bad check. And the funds, in the last few years, are auto-deducted from my account just about immediately. I called the number referred to on the "declined" receipt to find out why. And the reason? Its because Raleys management has arbitrarily put a dollar cap on the amount of checks theyll take from a customer within a certain amount of time. So basically, because I always write checks, Im spending too much money? Well alrighty then, I guess Ill take my "too much money" and spend it somewhere else. Thanks, Raleys, for bringing this to my attention and embarrasing me for being such a loyal customer.

My personal gripe is from a poor pedestrian with no wish to drive; relying on SNAP and help from family: I hate how the best grocery stores are out of reach. Its nice to know that Raleys thought about (making money off of) people on their lower end (via Food Source). And I admire the companys bravery in sticking a Food Source in Oak Park, that so-called "bad neighborhood." This Bel Air is the exact grocery store you wanna shop in; large, air-conditioned,and with a wide variety of choices. Its the type of place you wanna be at when youre not in a rush.

Employees are always nice and helpful. I recommend using their ecart shopping service. It saves you time and money. My only issue with the ecart service is the bag swap program. I have many bags in possesion and they tend to forget my bags then charge me for not having bags. After talking to whoever may help you they take care of the bag fee! Great program i definitely recommend it!

Love this store. I generally go here for their baked goods. Its Bel air so its expensive for most things but you get what you pay for. Staff is great you have a bager, they still help people to their vehicles, and this place is never PACKED which I really have come to appreciate going to cheaper stores and standing in massive lines smh

Good higher end meat cuts and nice fruit selection. All the refrigerated sections are behind doors with lighting that turns on with movement for energy saving. Could use a little better fresh vegetables selection and the phone app and rewards program structure sucks so not quite 5 stars.

Used to be great. But recently they started locking bathrooms because of drugs being used in them. And on Valentines day we saw a customer almost assault an employee. Yesterday my wife saw two homeless individuals shoplift. Not so comfortable there anymore.

Very convenient for the quick visit... since its not too big of place. I especially like the deli counter for healther choices of quick lunch instead of fast food. Other than produce being too expensive, I like the store. I shop here weekly.

This is a pretty good Bel Air, but I think I must be spoiled by my Bel-Air on Rush River Drive. The staff at Rush River are much more helpful and way more friendly!

Its a supermarket...tell the security guards to keep study up on guide dog requirements...just because it has a leash doesnt make it a guide dog...I like the place
