Weve loved shopping here for a couple of years now - the customer service has always been super friendly and personal, however, weve noticed a few changes over the last few months. Perhaps it is the increasing population of Hollister overall, and maybe this is happening everywhere, but we are finding we are having to go elsewhere to meet our needs. Items are often not stocked for days, sometimes specifics are not on the shelf for weeks! Twice now, in as many weeks, we have taken home perishable items with past due dates and mold inside. I shouldnt have to check! Even local food product lines have been dropped! Cmon people. Fresh produce items sell quickly or sub par items are left over on the shelf, perhaps for that exact reason. I really feel Hollister is being left behind. We are a HUGE community with almost zero supporting infrastructure and an exploding population of people who enjoy quality and gourmet foods. The staff here are so wonderful, but I think it is time for Nob Hill, as a business, to invest in our community as they have in surrounding counties and allow us to shop better through you. Thank you to the lovely staff who do their best.

My main grocery store where we shop. Customer service is fabulous, and very reliable and friendly. Unfortunately, the past few times we have been in, the produce section has been looking a bit GROSE. One would think this time of year all produce would be FRESH. I even saw a long black hair hanging out of the cabbage. Come on people. We live in a farming community. Cant we support a few of our local farmers at your store? Perhaps having tastes of what you are selling might also intrigue the local buyer? Kind of like a farmers market set up?

Its a little on the expensive side when you consider how many times I have gotten expired or rotten food and had to return it. The last time I bought 2lbs of baby shrimp marked "Fresh" it just about ruined everything in my refrigerator. It was in there for two days, and one of those days was the day I brought it home. By day two the rotten fish smell had permeated everything in there. Even the soda cans had to be washed because they smelled so bad. With so many other choices in town I suggest avoiding this place.

Called to find out if they carried a simple well known supplement in the store. Was transfered to 3 people before the last gal took my phone number to call me back. The pharmacist didnt even have it together enough to know. Very sad... waiting to hear back.....I gave one star only because the last gal was smart enough to at very least to take down my number and try to call me back with the info. We are now in a waiting pattern.... (sigh)

My favorite place to shop in Hollister.last few.years.they moving in the same direction as safeway starting to make big and value sizes prepackaged and less interesting for people with small family and preferences not store tons of frozen food at home.But even sometimes price on the high side shopping in Nob Hill Foods always make me feel happy,staff wonderful,attentive help to find anx good deli,bakery with artd feel special. This store is very clean and their personal is very friendly and treat you like family, also they have PMB that is the same as pobox. Is like a little place to receive and mail your letters, and have a good products plus a pharmacy inside the store and also have a bakery where they make so good bread and cakes, and they can take care of your duty laundry.

Up on Facebook, and i did not really like it because she was judging me based on me saying I wanted to get some pompoms, if a girl wants some pompoms then she should b able to make u some, so dumb...like I will think twice before going to this store

I love this store for their sushi and deli sandwiches ❤(the ones you order at the counter) the employees are kind and always smiling. The store is always very clean. The only downside is the higher prices but look for the sale items

The place to buy meat, and veggies and not get ripped off by Safeway. Plus,theyre not rude. Cheaper and better quality than any major in Hollister. Good deli. Try the brown sugar ham. Mmm.
