went into the store this morning to get myself and my wife Delhi sandwiches and minor things delhi lady was nice but the older self checkout clerks were rude and had poor VERY poor customer service we were scanning 3 items and as i tried to scan the last item it didnt want to scan so i had my wife go get another one of the same item then scanned it it said something about help is on the way after i had scanned it and the lady walked past us and mentioned that i didnt scan an item as she walking by!!!! my comment was yeah i know how can i scan it if it wont let me if it says help is on the way? and instead of helping us she walked over to another worker and decided it was talking time to talk about another coworker we stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for them to finish there conversation until my wife said to just go to another station so we did and as soon as we did then the lady decided to come and clear the previous stations screen Rude Considerate Immature and Lack Of Customer Service!!! Rude remarks were presented during our self check out by the clerks instead of assisting customers PROFESSIONALLY

This is usually my to-go place for late night runs barely 5 min away from my place and open 24/7, personally I prefer Safeway for their liquor deals for members definitely a lot cheaper than liquor stores, considering you already havent stocked up from Costco. Otherwise, usual commodities like milk, bread and egg does have its odd day requirements. The one thing I hate is even during normal evenings they have just one counter open with customers lining up with their huge home goods and the self-checkout is so damn tiring due to slow support staff and bad software. One crazy quirk in all Safeway : In self checkout you always have to press credit/debit button on the screen as well as the machine for doing the transaction, ideally in all other places if you select at one spot both will authorize once you swipe the card but SafeWay wants you to have a longer transaction ordeal. Good part this one has its own cheap Gas Station.

The cashiers at night put incorrect items in bags and you end up overcharged with everything except half of the items you actually purchased happened to me on two seperate occasions so now I just go to raleys. I work 12-14 hour shifts and get off late so I used to go here, if they are bagging and Im buying the food and the bags Im expecting my food to be in my bags correctly. Really annoying when people dont do their job right and u end up paying for things you didnt get to eat later or didnt want to eat. If you go here especially at night time watch what theyre doing and double check your bags but Im personally never going back.

Went in for literally one item. Drove 8 miles. They happened to be cleaning out the refrigerated dairy area, and refused to get said item from the back because they would have had to move a few items to get to it. Very lazy and unhelpful. I get it, at night they do maintenance, but dont be open 24 hours if your unwilling to help your customers. I probably will avoid this store from now on.

They printed one price in the paper for soda but when I got to the store, I was told that was not correct. Then at checkout the checker never spoke to me and the courtesy clerk didnt say a word either but he did try to smash my produce items. I had hoped with the change in ownership things would get better but I found that not to be the case.

The place has an excellent gas station which is one of the cheapest in the entire Bay Area, often by a fair margin. Apart from the gas, the place itself is largely forgettable and indistinguishable from any other Safeway in the Bay.

Always clean, great selection friendly staff, and they generally try very hard to keep the checkout lines running smoothly. I would definitely give 5 stars if they would just stock Kerrygold Unsalted Butter.

This store has just about everything that you need. The service is always helpful and friendly! I use the app to get the best deals here and if you look around a bit there are some very good savings here!

Dont ever gat a sandwich here. They skimp so much like if youre taking food out of their personal refrigerator. Like damn. Every other safesay Ive ever been too is legit, but this one SUPER SUCKS!!!!

Clean and big safeway. Ive been here multiple times where staff was watching and chasing a kid in a hood with a skateboard who was stealing. Glad to know they have their eyes peeled.

Overpriced. Nice staff. Have to wait too long in lines. Self checkout is nice but sometimes also too crowded. Sometimes things on shelves are about to expire. Bathrooms are clean.

... nice place to shop, reasonable prices, make sure you apply for membership card as it is worth it. you get much better deals.

Dont go in fora quick trip to the deli or bakery you will wait at least 10 minutes to even get served
