Ron is quite simply the best guy around if you need a bike or any sort of service on your bicycle! My wife and I recently bought 3 bicycles from FnA and the experience was second to none! We had tried another bike shop (and it was quite a ways away) looking for recumbent tadpole trikes (I.e., Catrike, Terra Trike, etc). There are only a handful of such dealers in Northern Illinois and I had no idea FnA was one of them until the other bike shop told us it would be 10-14 to get the bikes and then FAILED to order them over a week later - after we paid a deposit for them! They had no excuse and worse yet offered no apology. I cam across FnA by accident in a google search looking for a dealer closer to home who might actually care a little more about customers. My wife and I decided to take a drive and check it out. To say it was worth our time is a total understatement. In hindsight I couldnt be happier that the other shop screwed up or wed have never met Ron and found FnA. He spent an enormous amount of time making sure that my wife, son and I got bicycles that fit our needs and us! And he had them in stock and ready quickly. My son loves going to see Mr Ron (and better yet racing him down the drive of the shop). Im no one to take the time to write reviews often so rest assured that it will be worth your time to go to FnA. Ron and the staff really care. They dont rush you into a purchase nor do they skimp on time with customers. He carries quality bikes and incredible service. I believe in supporting local businesses and this is one Ill be going back to for years to come!!!

FnA Bicycles (aka Motorcycle Mechanic) is located off Schoolhouse Road (the second row of warehouses), and is owned and run by Ron Kittler. On a scale of one to ten (with one being poor and ten being great), the service I received was about fifteen. The service was superb. I purchased a new bike and Ron spent a lot of time getting it to fit me just right. I’ve been in and out of his shop a number of times, getting a tune-up for my bike, as well as buying accessories. One can tell Ron loves his job, loves working on bikes, and he loves riding his bike (ask to see his bike, it is amazing). He sells quality bikes at a reasonable price with superb service. I stopped in there to looking for a trike. I got an education and learned what would suit my needs and what wouldnt. Unfortunately what was in my price range wouldnt do for me. They were super friendly and let me ride a couple of different trikes even after I told them that there was no way I was going to be able to buy the more expensive one. I wish I had been able to stretch my budget a little because of the time they spent with me. I was able to find a good used one from a private seller with the knowledge I gained from them. When the time comes for an upgrade and my budget is larger this will be my first stop.

I havent rode a bike for almost a decade. Since I have moved, I really wanted to get back into doing the things that I enjoyed and bike riding was one of them. I saw the other reviews and decided to check out the shop. After all that was said and done, I can honestly say that the owner was exceptionally knowledgeable about bicycles. This is the best place in this neck of the woods to invest in a bike. He sells Felt bikes and used bikes as well. You will not be disappointed.

FnA Bicycles was beyond our expectations. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He takes the time to custom fit you to your ideal bike and makes sure you know the ins and outs of the bike you purchase. The shop is near open roads so you can test ride the bikes before purchasing. Prices are extremely competitive. I highly recommend visiting FnA.
