I have been taking by black lab to Petsmart for a few years and generally had good service across the board. However, I had an appointment set up today for a grooming service which I scheduled last week. I scheduled it on my lunch hour so I would have time to drive the 10 miles home to pick him up and bring him in to town and be able to get back to work in the hour that I was allotted. When I got him there for the appointment, the worker checking him in asked if I had his paperwork. I asked, "What paperwork! No one said that I needed to bring in paperwork." She looked at her screen and said that his vaccinations were expired. I said no one informed me when I called in or prior to the appointment. So they cant take him and I had to drive him all the way back home making me late to get back to work. The girl was less than sorry and had the attitude like oh well. We will not be going back to Petsmart for anything ever again (food, toys, services, etc.). A little better customer service prior to the appointment, including a follow call to let me know that paperwork was required, would have been greatly appreciated resulting in my continued patronage.

I purchased a Stay and Play Wireless Fence. We live on 10 acres of trees with rolling hills. All the information in the set up booklet said this will not affect the performance of this product. I can tell you this is a lie. When we called the manufacturer to help us troubleshoot the problems of intermittent loss of signal, they informed us product will not work with wooded land, rolling hills, cars in the driveway, wireless computer/cable service and possibly our electric service is affecting its performance. Are you kidding me? Who can use this? Maybe you shouldnt sell useless products. Especially for $350. When I called the store to inform them of what the manufacturer told us, they said they had heard that from other customers!!!! This product is being returned and we will not return to PetSmart.

Worst experience ever!!!! I walk in with my dog and a newborn baby to get my dog trimmed. The groomer thinks im only there for a bath. I explained i specifically made the appointment for a trim. The argument began and she would not stop replying with "im just a dog bather, we can reschedule a trim if we dont get to it today." Appalled at the fact that i had to argue my way into getting my dog trimmed which is what i specifically scheduled for, they wanted me to work around their schedule, not mine. I have a baby and a job to attend to, but they didnt seem to care. They even lied to me about when they would be done with my dog so i made an extra trip. When i picked my dog up she looked as if they didnt nothing but brush her. I was so mad i left and filed a complaint. Forget this place.

I have a 50 lb lab and I went in for the once a month flea meds, They gave me the lower dose for a 20 to 55lb dog, I explained it does not work on my do I need the 50- 90 lb dog med. They would not at all hear me. They said it would be toxic to my dog, Now 4 days later Im having to fight fleas because of the low dose. I think I know my dog better then they do. Go to a vet that will lesion to you because this one does not! If a med is safe for a 20 do how is it going to work on a 50lb dog! I have bought over the counter meds for 4 yrs of the stronger dose and hes still alive and never has gotten sick. I will keep doing that instead of going to this Vet for it. They would not talk to me or lesion to me. My poor dog will be itching for a month now before I can reapply it.

I would not recommend anyone buy any animals from here as the guinea pig I adopted, not 5 days ago, passed away. It could have been the pine shavings I bought for him or that he was sick when I got him or anything else I wasnt warned of. Either way, all staff should be educated on the animals in the store and what they can and cant have along with what they need so they can educate the people adopting pets. I am VERY disappointed and will not be spending anymore of my money here.

The first 2 times we took our dog there he had a wonderful experience. He looked great and was happy. The last time he got someone named Misty and was traumatized on grooming forever. She took half as long as the other people who had groomed him and charged more. We almost had to give him cortisone injections because of the hack job. We bought our own clippers after this experience. Beware. Do not leave your pet in the care of this person.

Went in to buy 7 new tags knowing its a pain to engrave them all. Asked 4 associates if they could help including the manager so that I could continue shopping. Every one told me to do it myself. Ended up leaving and am just going to order them online. Havent been here in years and now I remeber why. 20 employees standing around that dont want to help you and clearly dont even know how to feed themselves properly let alone your dog.

I took my 9lb papillon into the grooming dept at petsmart, first week of may 2016, I told them not 2 trim his ears, I repeated dont trim his ears. When I came back 2 get him I couldnt believe my eyes, I almost screamed, they cut off, all the hairs that flair out on his ears. This is the signature of the papillon & the hairs dont grow back. They didnt charge me the $66. Big deal, I will never take either one of my dogs there again.

Watch out for these guys. They do not stand behind their products and if you have a problem they wont do a thing about it. And make sure you always look at the item you are buying very carefully as they do not check returns and just put them back on the shelf. Good luck with scammers.

I went there 3 times in 1 week and bought fish. They ALL ended up dieing the next day, when I asked the empoyees for information no one could tell me what happened. They didnt ask any questions or offer any information. Will NEVER buy from them again!!!

Really unhappy with the service. The dog grooming was good but there was a big mis-communication on price that we feel should have been handled much differently. We will not be a returning customer.

Great place to buy dog or cat food, but dont buy any pets from them. The reptiles cages are horrid and very unsanitary. It seems as if they only clean them once a week, not even.
