Others may disagree... Ive heard good things about this store but my experience here was terrible. The shop itself is extremely cramped and dirty. The staff will talk down to you (even after youve made clear that this is not your first "real" bike) They dont know how to fit a person properly. I tried 4 models of road bikes 46cm to 61cm. I ride a 55-56cm. According to the staff, all 4 bikes fit me perfectly, because I had more than an inch of crotch clearance from the top tube. Yeah... because everyone rides a bike with there balls sitting on the top tube :) I really.. really.. hate it when bike sales staff pull this crap. I only tried the other 3 to see if the "fit" was consistent. The sales lady was also very pushy. The only good thing about this store is that is carries a lot of really old bikes. If you want something vintage this is a good place to look. However, they seem to think that a bikes quality ages like a good wine. The price goes up and up and up. Im sorry... but a 1995 stumpjumper isnt worth MORE than a 2007 model. I would never EVER buy a bike here.

Highly knowledgeable staff and a wonderful and refreshing change to see a family run business. Their repair prices cant be beat and they are done very quickly. Im not sure why so many other reviewers are giving it such a bad reputation. I think its great to see a business thats stood the test of time and Ive overheard many customers telling the staff that they wont go anywhere else. Patios biggest competitor is probably the overly-advertized Wheel and Sprocket. W&S only carry (crappy) Trek models and parts so if you want anything other than that, Patio is your place. Patio Bike also specializes in custom jobs (even on bikes W&S refuse to work on)! If youre looking for a trustworthy, family-owned, knowledgeable, and honest staff - you gotta visit Patio!!! :) I recommend it to all my friends!

They have literally any bike you could ever need! Huge stock, great prices, super friendly staff, they really know their stuff. The shop manager there knows like everything there is to know about every bike ever made it seems. They can fix anything! This place is always where ill go to get a bike or fix mine when it needs repairs.

Horrible experience. My brother bought a bike on the owners advice and expertise. After biking for a summer he was told by several bike enthusiasts that the bike was too smal . Its the equivalent of a womans extra small! They will do nothing to make it right! They are crabby and not gracious or knowledgeable owner . Skip it!

Ive had my bike in to the Patio Bike Shop twice in the last three months (broken spoke, flat tire). Both times the service was quick, courteous, thorough, and comparatively inexpensive. Patio Bike Shop is my new bike shop of choice.

Awesome shop, fast cheap and honest repairs. HUGE selection, cool mix of new and old collector bikes. Family run, knowledgeable staff. Suggested from a friend after going to wheel and sprocket. No more Trek for me!!!! A+++++
