Very disrespectful experience. Went in for a front derailleur. Not in stock so they would order. I needed by a certain morning so we agreed to next day air it. I sat outside shop that morning waiting for them to open/pick up derailleur. No delivery yet he said even though it should have been delivered by 10:30 . Ok went home and called around noon to check. Not yet. Ok call again around 5pm(close at 6) . No it didnt come yet. I said Show me some consideration and if you didnt order it let me know so I can look elsewhere he said Ill text my boss and call you back in 5 minutes. It has been 5 days since he said he would call me back in 5 minutes and still no explanation apology or call from anyone at this shop. I dont recommend this place, tell friends/fellow cyclists and will now go to Performance Cyclery Inn a Orland Park where they helped me with my problem with consideration and respect for their customers. I suggest you do the same.

The guys here run a pretty cool shop. Ive never gone here for service but Ive brought friends here to rent a mountain bike if I want to take them to the Palos trails. The rental bikes always seem to be in great condition. I will say though, the guys arent the most punctual people. If youre planning on showing up right when they open or within an hour or two I wouldnt plan on them being there. A friend and I waited an hour after their posted opening time with nobody showing up. We left and came back another hour later, waited 15 minutes in the parking lot and finally somebody showed up to open the shop. Nice guys, but niceness doesnt stop or speed up time.

Cant believe the service. Brought my Canondale in for $69.00 checkup and service, and asked them to remove my U-Lock that I couldnt remove. Joe and his guys had it ready as promised, but had forgotten to remove the lock. Key didnt work. They had to locate a special cutter. (See U-Tube video on their site of the cutting operation.) At 8 last night Joe phoned, and I found him tooling around in my parking lot on my bike. They removed the lock, delivered as promised - all for not a penny more than the original price (plus a replacement lock, of course). FRIENDLY, HONEST, THEY DELIVER (even when they forget).

Im picking up my second bike from 2bici today. The experience there has always been great..I wouldnt be going back if it wasnt. Its a bike shop without the usual bike shop bullsh*t, where Joe and his staff will take the time to explain things to you without making you feel like a complete moron. They are also conveniently located just a short distance from the Palos singletrack trails as well as the I&M and Centennial paved trails (and one of the closest shops to the Cal-Sag trail also). Oh, and Joes dog is awesome too.

My wife and I were looking for a bike so that she could start commuting, and we stopped in just to see what they had in stock. Its a small shop and their selection is limited, but we ended up staying a while to chat with the worker. He gave us some great advice that was tailored to our price range, and where to find a less hill-y route for my commute. We didnt purchase anything, but I really liked the vibe I got from the store and the staff. Ill definitely take my bikes here for any work that I cant handle myself.

Joe not only sold me a fork maintenance that he couldnt perform but also made me pay for the complete replacement of it as a result of that attempt while letting me wait for almost 2 years. Not to mention the dent in the frame while under his care for that long. Great store to chat about bikes and biking but if you need anything done besides a tire change you will be better off anywhere else.

Joe is a smooth talker but nothing else. Every single transaction with him turned out to be either incomplete, inaccurate or flat out wrong. The shop has a strategically great location but thats about it. If you want to chit chat about bikes, Joe is your man. If you want actual work done or buy one, go to a place that is competent and capable. It will safe you many phone calls and trips.

Joe takes great care of our bikes and has since he opened. His prices are very reasonable, they always have a fast turn-around time for repairs and he takes the time to talk customers through their questions to find the best possible plan for them. Great guy, great bike shop! Not a ton of stock on hand but he will order anything you need. So glad hes in our area.

Although the shop is small the vibe is excellent, even though I wasnt looking to purchase anything at the time the, owner I believe, was extremely helpful and friendly. The kind of guy who will go out of his way just because he enjoys spreading his love of cycling. Ill definitely be returning soon

Stopped in to say hi recently and one of the guys instantly recognized me from a kit I was wearing. So YES, they do ride in the area, and are friendly. Nice to see a shop so close to the trails. Allez!! Ray
