I came in looking for a decent hybrid to get started in cycling. Mitch helped me after a few minutes, which was perfect because they were really busy and I wanted to look around at all of their clearance gear. I explained my budget and he explained my options, which I had already researched but needed a bit of help understanding. I also knew they sold used bikes and there happened to be the exact size and model I wanted, hardly used, hardly a year old, for a great price. Mitch was so patient as to even teach me how to take my front wheel on and off so I could get it home. While he was finishing up the tuning after my full fitting, the owner explained he had just customized a bike for a young girl who had never been able to pedal due to her special needs - he was so proud of this job and the "game changer" the bike would be for the girls physical ability - I felt like he was such a great businessman. I stumbled upon Emerys by accident, but it was such an impressive experience all around and I am so pleased with my new bike!

We took our Cub Scout Bear den to Emerys last week and Brent did a spectacular job. They learned bicycle care, how to ride together with other cyclists (by following each other around the show room communicating what we were going to do next), how to determine the right seat height, bike frame size fitting, and replacing an inner tube. Beyond that Brent showed them good character - how to have a good hand shake and why winning isnt everything. Much more than I expected. Plus he reiterated the price matching that was mentioned in another review. There is no reason not to bring your business to Emerys.

Had my bike shifter cable installed there. Beyond reasonable price for labor and parts. Also went to go buy a bike pump. Keep in mind, I am extremely frugal and usually shop online, but I was so pleased with the personal service I received I decided to buy everything I needed there. I will continue to go there for now on. This world does not have enough brick and mortar places with excellent service. I am happy to support a business like this. I urge you to go check it out even if you dont plan on buying. Test their service!

Word on the street was that they match any price on the internet, so went in with a printed out sale item and sure enough it was true. They matched it and I was happy to buy a very expensive crank at an amazing price! There is also the bonus that in case I have any issues with it they are just around the corner! I plan to go back to check out their bike selection because they also claim to have the best prices in town!

This business is an asset to the greater Milwaukee community and a credit to kindness in humanity. The owner is successful because of good business sense, complete knowledge in his field and a true balance of giving back to the people he serves. I am so glad that I took my business here when I needed bike repairs. Honesty and quality are high priorities at A-1 Discounted Bikes.

Have bought at least 5 bikes from Emerys including a high end recumbent plus numerous accessories. Always had great service and Brent and staff are there to handle any situation you can think of. Recently went in to get bike brake parts and cables for a McGiver application and Christopher was awesome. Great to have a service oriented business in the neighborhood!

This is a pretty average small shop. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They have good prices (especially on clearance) they also have a few used bikes that they sell. Selection isnt the greatest here. Nor do they sell any brand that cant be purchased elsewhere. Stop by if youre in the area, but I wouldnt go out of my way to come here.

I was recently in the area for an event and had a last minute mechanical come up. Emerys were incredibly helpful and Chris in the service department not only resolved my issue correctly, but took the time to explain to me why it happened. If in the area, I would absolutely recommend this shop.

Second time Ive stopped there in the past month. First time no customer service after 15 minutes so I left and thought it was a fluke. 2nd time same thing. Left and bought 2 bikes elsewhere that day. Nice shop, poor service.
