I cant say enough to good things about this store. I meant to post this last week but got busy. I went in to buy hiking boots last week. The service I received from Dustin was phenomenal! He helped me pick out the most perfect hiking boots! Went hiking this past weekend and Im so pleased with my purchase. He really went above and beyond to help me. And he help me pick out socks! The whole Schaumburg REI team is very friendly. Great experience in general!

Just returned my daughters bike without feeling guilty. This bike was giving us problem month after purchase. When chain come off, it just sits in the garage for so long until we take back for repair.... and you dont want to do that few times a year and what happens if it gets older... Anyway, great policy and I hope we dont abuse this. I rather keep nice bike that offers no trouble then take back to experience good teturn policy.

I had a flat tire on my bike that needed replacing. My first call was REI because I had been in there and knew they had a bike repair shop. I got there, and someone helped me right away, even showing me how to replace the tube by myself in the future. They charged me $5 and $5 for the tube and I was out of there in 15 minutes. I was really impressed. You dont get that service at places like Dicks or Sports Authority.

REI is one of the last places that I feel actually cares about its customers. I became a member in 2008 and have continued to be impressed. They offer quality gear and services. For those who complain about their products being "overpriced" are also the same ones replacing their cheap crap every year.

Love REI. I wish they carried more stuff at the store but I understand they are limited by space. Online shopping is easy and when at the store their employees are nice. They sell good quality stuff, much better than the other fisher-price sporting good stores out there.

I wish the sleeping bags would be easier to see what they come with. Everything is tagged and locked down with security tags making viewing products nearly impossible. Customer service is great. Employees are easy to talk to and help when you need it.

The employees are....not as nice as rei employees from other locations. They also have way too big a clothes section, and the outdoor gear definitely takes a back seat because of it. A very disappointing rei to visit

This place is great, service is wonderful. They always have a clearance rack which is nice. Apparently not a lot of fat people in Schaumburg shop at REI cause they always have my size in clearance.
