I am not surprised that Prospect Bikes and Trains has such high reviews! I went in to replaces the intertube for my Bob Stroller tire and received prompt and excellent service. The staff was very knowlegable and patient and answered questiions about childrens bike seats and helped in fitting my toddler (who was not happy) with a helmet. Plus, they had a vintage Thomas the Tank engine train table to occcupy my son as I was having the tire replaced. Staff even helped in getting my reluctant toddler out of the shop when it was time to go! i am definetely going to go back for all future bike needs!

The people here are friendly and courteous. When Ive needed my bike serviced it has been done quickly and with great attention to detail. Im glad I bought my bike locally at this shop and would recommend anyone else to do the same. First tune up is free which was really nice. My positive experience here compelled me to leave feedback on the web, which is something I normally do when Im displeased with something.

I called to ask if its normal if my 300 lb butt leaks 10psi out of my 100psi tube. He said it was normal and didnt pressure (no pun intended) me to spend money I didnt need to. We even had a talk about about how to save tubes with patches. This is the kind of place I would like to spend money, to they are around when I need them. I think of a reason to stop by and buy something.

Recently purchased a Cannondale mountain bike here and was very impressed with the salesmans knowledge, patience and helpfulness on the busy day I came in the store. The owner, Bill, took extra effort to make sure I was happy with my purchase and gave me tips on preserving my new bike. Very happy customer - I would recommend this bike shop.

Excellent service and reasonable market pricing. Allowed me the use of their lot to install my equipment. Good advice about my bicycle and how it can and cant be used. With summer started, I intend to return to Prospect Bikes and have a maintenance check before I take it out again. If you like bikes, its a great place to browse.

Needed work done on a new fork and these guys did a great job at a price that makes sense. Other bike shops around this area seem to have inflated prices for relatively simple services. I highly recommend this local bike shop and will be coming back if I need anything else done.

Great bike shop. My husband and I just picked up a pair of bikes this week. After a long day of bike shopping at other places, this was our last stop. They were welcoming, educational and NOT overly pushy, like the other stores we went to. Will be recommending them from now on!
