Not at all female-friendly... I went to buy an ejector pit pump diaphragm switch and went to see the associate in the Plumbing Department. He rudely told me not to expect him to know everything and asked me whether Daddy sent me. Home Depot did not have the part I needed after all. I went to Ferguson Plumbing, who knew exactly what I needed. The associate advised me to tell the plumber that I already had the part, so that they might not even charge me their usual service fee. I give Home Depot two stars instead of one because I went back to get a quote for materials to remodel my deck myself. I provided the parts list and he spent over an hour putting together the estimate for me. Then, he waived the delivery fee like he would for a contractor because of the total cost of the materials.

Dont order your kitchen here unless you dont want to cook on your kitchen for next 4 month. AWFULL time management by kitchen staff. Awfully follow-up with their vendors and those vendors know it very good so they dont give a moment of clue about your home without kitchen . They outsourcing their kitchen installation to one company and Granite installation to another and Store staff per(Marcy one of managers) dont have any control on their own Vendor. Been waiting for Kitchen to finish almost 4 month and store staff Keep Promising to do their best of NOTHING. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED. I wish there was 0 Star option .

I have shopped here for a long time!! I was going to swear off shopping here after the whole credit card / debit card problem, but you always need a home improvement store. I went back and let me tell you how impressed I am, I purchased a hot water tank and had it installed about 10 months ago, the company they subbed to was great( DRF Home Solutions). This weekend I had an issue with it an the customer service at Rheam was a joke, rude and mean. I call Home Depot and the manager of the plumbing department and the assistant store manager were great and helped me resolve my problem!! .

my experience here is usually great but, apparently they recently are under New management and I was not Informed when I called asking about their one year policy on perennials I was told by more than one employee said that I can return them within a year if they died, so I did go I brought the remainings of my dead plants and I was told we cant do that we only refund BUSHES and SHRUBS ? And I was very furious because I had spent over 500 on plants and at the end they did honor it but it was a hassle. I was just shock on how misinformed the workers were as well.

We needed one thing the last time we went in to buy something on what was probably the first nice weekend. We went outside to the garden center checkout. The window was closed, there was someone clearly visible in the booth and she ignored us. Then we went back inside to the self-checkout. Something offered near the checkouts wasnt scanning. We went to the self-checkout cashier and she was annoyed that we took her away from her personal online shopping. Well be driving the extra time to go to Ace Hardware or Menards from now on.

Possibly the worst Home Depot in IL I bought an item and returned it literally 5 mins afterwards since it didnt fit the faucet and it was a hassle to do so and was given 3 dollars less on my credit which I dont even feel like going back to fight about since their customer service is horrible Home Depot is losing my respect it used to be a good place to go to for everything..save your time and money and find another place they dont have good inventory anyways

If you know youre not going to return the item you buy then its ok to use the store. But if you arent sure that you wont have to return anything then go buy your stuff at MENARDS these people are unpleasant and useless when youre returning, they treat you like a terrorist. If you have any problems returning items, ask for DEBBIE shes the only capable worker there

Their tool rental sucks. When renting out a machine you better take it apart to check all the parts. Those are the words of the sales clerk when he charged me $50 for something that WAS an existing issue in the machine when I picked it up (and now he claims it is my fault). On the phone the clerk was rude. Honestly I do not recommend using their tool rental!

Dont expect any customer service there, weve stood for 10 minutes in the grill area hoping for someone to help us, employees in the mean time congregated behind the service desk having a good time. Lowes sold me a grill with smile. I dont think I will be giving Home Depot any more tries.

The store refused to honor their advertised agreemnt to beat any competing price by 10%. The manager stated that they did not usually honor prices from ABT and Sears. Their advertisements do not mention this limit. A real shame. I would avoid this store at all costs. Steve

Plumbing stock, thats what I buy for my business. They carry different fittings compaired to Menards. Good bulk rate deals, when spending a lot of money on larger projects.! All my employees love the free coffee

The staff here have always been the most helpful. They will always ask you when passing by if you need help with anything. They always know exactly where everything is, and will take you there if you need them to.
