I love gardening so much and I was extremely excited to start on my garden. The last time I went to this Home Depot, I bought tons of vegetable seeds and four bags of Black Kow composted cow manure (but it wasnt close to enough for my garden). My first time shopping there, an older man helped me. He was extremely helpful with everything. He was very, very knowledgeable about the products and gardening in general. And most importantly, he helped put the bags of manure in my van (as there were no way that I could do it myself because it was too heavy). Based on that experience, I went back to this particular Home Depot again because I thought maybe I could get the same service. Anyhow, I went to this particular Home Depot on 3/20/17 at around 4 PM (I had two little children with me). I wanted to buy four bags of Black Kow composted cow manure (and whatever else that I could find for my garden). Each bag is 50 pounds and I wanted to buy a total of four bags. I needed help carrying it to my van, and the young lady that works at the garden department seemed annoyed by me (maybe because she didnt know much about gardening or she was just having a bad day. She didnt know about anything I asked her regarding any gardening products and I was fine with that. I dont expect everyone to know about gardening). When I asked her to help me carry the four bags of cow manure from the shelf, she got someone to help her to put it on the flat cart. So, what makes her think that if she needed help putting it on the cart that I could put it in my van by myself (with two small children). I am 411" woman and Im not that strong, and I politely told her more than several times that I will need help putting it in my van (so, its not like she didnt know or couldnt hear that I asked for help). She just pushed the cart to customer service and walked away without saying a word (looking like she was annoyed ). She walked back to the garden section of the store and closed the little gate to the garden area. Wow, these people seemed to either hate their job or just hate people in general? I am so disappointed that I didnt get what I went there for that day. So, I left the bags of manure in the cart at the customer service and left the store. Im pretty sure Home Depot wont feel anything from the lost of just one single customer, as they have million of other customers that shop their. But I rather spend couple more dollar at other stores than shop here!

Let me start off by saying that most people do not take the time to write a review unless they are upset. My experiences with your home depot have been nothing but excellent with this store, Yes it is a very busy store because of its location and much harder to keep things stocked but yet every time I have went there I have always been able to get what I need and every time I ask for anything the service is awesome. people will lead me to exactly where the product I need is and also explain to me differences in other products there as well that I might be able to save a few bucks on that can be something that works just as well. For example I was there again yesterday and was unable to find the new replacement bulbs for the mag light flashlights to l.e.d. style bulbs. I had talked to a person there that went out of their way to find a guy named Gary who did have knowledge of these and went and tracked them down for me and when we went over there I found two of the 3 bulbs that I had been looking for and was at the check out isle ringing up my purchase when Gary come down the isle walking very fast towards me to make sure he could get to me before I left to say that he had went through and rearranged the area where the bulbs were that customers had left a mess and found that bulb that I had not been able to find and gave it to me at the check out as I was being processed. GREAT JOB once again for the excellent service once again from Gary and the person who directed me to Gary for the fast service. Again this is how I am treated every single time I go there. Also with the shades I purchased there a month ago for my entire house. Great job they knew exactly how much to take off for my window openings. As well as Plumbing that I have had outstanding help with as I am not knowledgable with at all. And they saved my day there as well. THANK YOU to ALL the GREAT and Helpful employees.. Keep up the good work very much appreciated. Troy Nahrath VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

the location is wonderful but with the addition of all the stores right around there getting in and out with my 16 cube van does get pretty hairy sometimes. the way the place is organized is well designed and very efficient. the prices are competative with all the other major home improvement stores and they havent branched all over the place to become a super home depot or mega home depot its just home improvement stuff. my only complaint is there seems to be only one person in each department who has a clue about what they are selling and they are generally with a customer who should have done at least some research before coming in or go to one of the seminars instead of having the sales associate explain all the details to a difficult project while other people are waitng and the rest of the sales associates seem to be teenagers that despite their best efforts have absolutely no clue yet are too proud to say sorry im not sure i can get someone that can help. I have already been given illegal (against state code) advice as well as advice that is not only completely wrong but will waste product and not work to finish the project properly. Home depot generally has more products in a more organized manner for the same price where as Menards is a bit of a mess about the same prices depending on what your getting but most of the sales reps know something about most of the stuff in their dept. and are able to direct you towards the right dept. and someone there that will be able to help u and answer all your questions..

I was happy to learn, a few months back, that the failing custom vertical blind unit I purchased several years back ($1000) could be serviced - at the time, the store employee told me all I had to do was bring it in. In reality, when I showed up with the 111" head rail, the woman behind the desk acted like I was bringing in a dead skunk. "Theres nothing we can do, its Sunday, the company that makes that line is closed so I cant call them and we usually have the customers send it back directly to the manufacturer." When I suggested that Home Depot might be in a much better position to get the nearly 10 foot unit back to the manufacturer than I was, she said, "No, we crush all the boxes the product comes in." So I was suppose to believe that a company that specializes in distributing thousands of different vendors products all over the country has no good way to return product to one of their main suppliers of window treatments. "I can give you a phone number and you can call the company." But before she did that she turn to "take care of another customer" even though the conversation they had suggested it was a co-worker. They were happy to take my money to begin with, but not much help on the back-side of the transaction. I was left to wonder if Home Depots financial problems has affected the way they on-board and train employees. Had there been even the slightest effort to try work out a solution, I wouldnt be posting this review.
