I decided to start an herb garden, and I know nothing about gardening. The employee, Jared, helped me and my friend for probably about an hour, patiently teaching us anything and everything I needed to know about it. He even helped us Google, call, and locate other places to find any of the things I still needed (like a giant planter box made of wood). Then, when I came back the next day (realizing NO ONE sold giant wooden planter boxes), an employee from tools (I believe his name was Will) helped me for over an hour in hardware with visualizing and measuring the different dimensions of the box I wanted to make. Although he was probably only supposed to cut me the wood, he happily and enthusiastically built the thing for me! And afterward taught me everything Id have to do later (sanding, staining, etc.). So even though I spent a lot more time at the store this week than I anticipated, I had a very good experience. Will was also quite knowledgeable about gardening despite not working in that department. Today I went back and Don, another worker greeting customers at the door, was very patient and helpful with me as he helped me do an exchange and then cut keys. He was also friendly and well-versed in gardening tips. I get the impression that each employee is trained to be sort of "men of all trades" within the store departments and have been very pleasantly surprised. The only minor complaint is when I called the store today to ask a gardening question. It took way too long to connect me, even disconnected once, and there was no hold music or anything to signify whether anyone was on the line. So I recommend going to the store itself and interacting with the workers there rather than calling.

I ordered custom doors in March that cost over $3,000 and its now coming to mid August and its still not complete, the installation is fair at best, and they keep ordering the wrong doors, then I requested paint as I PAID EXTRA to have the doors painted, and I had to go into the store to get the paint myself. Im still missing one door, this will be installation #6. I cant believe it. Dont ever buy anything custom from here! They never call you back and they told me Id get a credit back on my account and that still hasnt been taken care of.

Everyone there act like an expert in something. Telling my employees they "I been a plumber for 30 years" "I work blah blah for blah years" If you were an expert in any construction field why would you quit and work at home Depot. An epert plumber makes minimum 50+ an hour why would you leave that for to work at home Depot. Tuth is they know the minimum about everything and act as experts. In all my years working I have never had someone tell me they know everything. But some how these people do.

Help there is lazy the would not go check top shelf for a fitting they said they had 27 of had to drive to Menards and get the one fitting we needed to finish the job overall it is a small store oversized Ace hardware just cashiers and no one else in the store pretty much your on your own if your looking for help or assistance go elsewhere you Will not get it here

Called to make sure they had a particular product after calling a few other places they said they did. I get here and oh wait thats a special order we dont carry that. Waste of a trip. Could have gone somewhere else.

So far so good; have just been in for basic stuff. Some stock plentiful, some mystifyingly low or not carried. The staff has been knowledgable and friendly. That and convenient location means Ill be back.
