This used to be a good store. I was a loyal customer. Overtime, the quality of products have severely deteriorated. I will buy online from now on after the junk I bought here along with worthless extended warranties. I will tell my story. In 2014 I bought an LG stainless steel refrigerator, along with a extended warranty. The ice maker did not work consistently from day one. The front is starting to rust! I notified the extended warranty people who claim rust is not covered, because it is cosmetic! Who would spend the money on these high end stainless steel products and not have anyone stand buy the workmanship of the product? Nobody, thats who. I had he same response when my new dishwasher started to rust on the inside. One day the drawers for loading dishes did not pull out. The warranty people told me that if the dishwasher turns on, nothing else is covered! Insanity!! The quality is not here. The warranties are worthless. The customer service quality, nonexistent. Since nobody cares, I recommend shopping online. I will NEVER shop at Home Depot again.

This review is not for a home depot store however it is for their appliance delivery service. I ordered a new refrigerator Monday July 10th that was supposed to be delivered Tues. July 18th. I received a confirmation call the night of the 17th giving me my 4 hour delivery window. Tuesday morning they call stating they have to reschedule for Thursday or Friday. I call back to find out why and they say that they are short staffed. I rescheduled which now they say they can not deliver until Monday July 24th . I requested at the time of rescheduling a manager call me they said they would have one call me. I called again the following day same response. I called everyday up until they delivered my refrigerator for a manager to call me and no one ever did or has. The people who came to deliver rushed the install. They plugged it in and that was all. PLEASE LOOK AT THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE REVIEWS UNDER R & D DELIVERY COMPANY. That is who Home Depot uses for their delivery and as long as they use them I will never purchase another appliance from them.

My fiancé and I went there to buy a rug. The rug that we wanted was laying in a pile of rugs. There was a few employees busy working changing things around. There was an employee just sitting there by the computer, texting under the table. We went to ask for help and they said we have to get the rugs off one another by ourselves. I literally started laughing and said "seriously? Isnt it why they get pay to work here? To help us?" Even after me saying that, they just looked at us. After taking 10 rugs off of the rug that we want, I was already irritated. As we were putting the unwanted rugs back in place, I said forget it, lets just go. So we left with the rug and as we were leaving. I can hear them whispering "look what they did" Very poor customer service!! Id never go there again.

Try to rent a machine ....have to wait for more than an hour to be told that the machine wasnt available,went to talk to the manager and I have to wait another 25 more minutes because she wasnt at the customer service desk ,when she finally came and I explained to her the situation. ..her words were.....sorry to hear that but I cant do anything about it, is something else that I can help you? This is what I call the worst customer service ever and this is not the first time this happen on this store second shift hours ,the only reason I come back was because I received an email to apologize for other bad customer service issues .....not willing to come back even if morning shift is different, like day and night.

I went to Homedepot and inquired about getting my floors done, the service in the store was ok, it it seems like the workers are not proffesionaly to trained to answer all your questions and help you find the right materials and design, we paid to get our living room done with laminate wood, upon the arrival of the installers, there was a lot of confusion and mix up as far as materials and as far as work. The installers were rookies and didnt do the moisture test right. Left gaps by the corners, overall we were not satisfied with the quality of laminate or work, when I contacted Home Depot they said this is what you picked and this is what will stay on your floor because o called after a week of the installation being done

Horrible, pathetic place. Night manager was a flake. Said he could not help me with inquiring about flooring. He didnt even look like a manager. 25 minutes later after the flooring guy got off break he said to call him and he would take our measurements to schedule an appointment for carpet estimate. I called him back. His name was David and each time I called him the girl at the Service counter who was so unprofessional herself said he was too busy to help us and this was at 8:30 at night. Lets all work to put Home Depot out of business! While Menards parking lot was packed. Home Depot didnt even have barely any customers! I would like to see the Night Manager and that 2nd shift flooring guy David fired immediately!

Rude employees that stand around doing nothing and not helping customers waiting in line. I went in to pick up an online order and there were no less than 4 people behind the desk. They were only helping ONE customer at a time and the other employees were just sitting there with dumb looks on their face. The very large black lady that was at the next station asked me what I wanted finally and after I told her she just sat there looking stupid and not lifting a finger to help - all she had to do was go get my order from the back that was already paid for. Too bad their employees all seem to be low IQ McDonalds rejects.

I had been looking everywhere for replacement slats for our garden benches, no one sells them. But I saw on a blog comment from a Home Depot personnel that they would gladly locate and cut the wood to the dimensions needed. I headed over and barely walked in the door with slats in hand and the salesperson said you need help and cutting done? Yes! I said and 10 minutes and 16 cuts later I was back home and working on my benches! Love you Home Depot!

Just a small bit of advice. You should tell your loss prevention guy to spend a little more time looking like a customer instead of a creep on the prowl for children. Also maybe he should push a cart instead of blatantly staring suspiciously at people who are there with their families returning merchandise.

Called to see if they had a particular hedge trimmer. Waited a long time on the phone. After getting the department, had to repeat three times the kind of hedge trimmer, just to tell me about all the other ones they have, not the one requested. Better off going to the store and checking it out myself.
