Tonights full moon (1/4/2015) was the ideal target date to test the Werner Extension ladder as ladders are a tool for higher learning. So I stopped by our local Home Depot in Ingleside, Illinois. The staff was "Well Dressed" in BEHR MQ1-19 and met me in aisle 19 under the Lumber Guarantee marquis. Here I noticed the letters "ber and g" seemed to cascade into the letters "stra" from strap manifesting a remarkable serendipity of my Mothers maiden name Bergstrom. And the direction of the products even LED to an arrow shaped angle bracket tail. Well Mom always called me a Monster and I have her Polish and Swedish blood and oddly enough the letters of both Bergstrom and Monster form from the same root - and match up right on target when Dads German name Kretzschmar is added for the "N in it. Dorin who speaks Romanian suggested that the extension ladder could act as a metaphor for a ladder to the moon where when one climbs it as an alphabet with alternating letters on each side where A-Y is to the Right "think R.A.Y." and B-Z is on the Left "thing BEZEL" the can dial in and see the manifestation of STROM ascending with the pattern Right to Left (S) - Up One (T) - Diagonal Back Up One Right (O) - and Up Once Again Still on the Right (M). Also the ladder showed Me (R.A.K.) on the Right rail QOM, a City in Iran, KIGE which means "the most" in the Estonian language, WUST a River in Germany, and even ACE. So When I got home I took a photo of the Moon over our neighbor Chads house. Tonight is the Feast of the Epiphany so another neighbor of mine is Nigeria, President Goodluck Jonathan in the Chad Basin National Park where we often say that acorns in a corner bring us a lucky 21 Black Jack hand with the ACE of the ladder I mentioned earlier. If you looking for a lift up to the Boötes Constellation ask for Ruth, she speaks Spanish and can show you the Aluminum mesh with a tie for the herdsman or plowman.

My experience here was less than satisfactory. I asked for assistance in plumbing only to wait 5 minutes and have the gentleman walk up and assist another man in the Isle aside from myself who was specifically waiting for his help. I understand its his job to ask everyone if they need assistance, but it was frustrating none the less, so I attempted to figure it out myself. Next, I went to do an exchange and the system had a glitch and the gentleman sent me down to the other side of the store. He was clearly agitated with the malfunctioning equipment and acted on his agitation which I found unprofessional. I then proceed to the returns line where a woman named Amy "assisted" me. She did not ask if I found everything okay, how my experience was, how I was or even said hello. Her computer also malfunctioned which she proceeded to yell for assistance. Eventually she figured out how to process the exchange. She asked if I wanted cash or store credit back and I said cash. She said, oh well we cant do that.... and just handed me the card with the credit. I then needed to remind her I also needed to purchase items for my "exchange" as she sat there stuffing handfuls of peanuts in her mouth. She processed my request and then immediately handed me my receipt and started helping the guest behind me. She did not say thank you or have a nice day or any sort of acknowledgement for that matter. Home Depot will never have my business again and I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone. It is consistently negative customer service when I have gone most recently and in the past. Menards is right across the street, my suggestion-- go there instead!!

Ive been going to this home depot for the past year while working on my house. Everyone there has been very friendly. A couple weeks back my dad bought me a lawn mower from here. When I tried to use the mower it would not run right because of the starter. So I brought it back to the store. I had no problems returning it. but when i wanted exchange it. They did not have any at the store. A tall bearded associate named Eric did everything he could, from seeing if could be fixed to calling multiple store to locate one. Finally he found one in Roundlake. He made sure they had it ready for me when i got there. Which they did. This is why I keep coming back. Awesome customer service.

Hector Garcia the merchandising assistant store manager, is great! My parents were buying a lot of remodeling supplies and appliances in bulk, but when they were told they would only get 6 months to pay off the purchase on their Home Depot card they returned a lot of the stuff. But, Hector then helped them by getting in touch with the credit card customer service reps and got my parents an extended time period so they could buy everything they needed to finish their remodeling job. By doing so my parents got everything they need to finish the remodeling job a lot sooner than later. Claudette the appliance specialist was also really great!

Needed advice and materials for restoring my deck before selling my home. Teresa in the paint department was WONDERFUL and, though it was a little tricky finding someone in lumber, Ill be back for attitudes like hers!

Ive always had a good experience here. People are always willing to help and they always have what I need. I love being able to walk the aisles and search for whatever I may or may not need.

Greeted at the door walked down to the location of the item I needed. And took the time to answer all the questions I had. Seem to be that way with every employee at this location.

They only get two stars until they acknowledge that they are in the Village of Volo, not Ingleside. Ive tried to change this in Google Maps before, but was denied.

Terrible customer service. Good luck trying to find someone to help you or check out your items. Save your time and money, and go across the street to Menards.

Just bought a Christmas tree here and there was no one there to help with tying it to the roof. Out of disposal bags. Seriously poor service. Disappointed.
