I am a regular Menards shopper - decent sale prices and they have many staples we need (bird food, cleaning supplies, lumber, etc.) Had an experience today that finally made me write a review. Short version of a long story - we needed two carpet runners due to our hardwood floors being too slick for our dog post surgery. Bought a 24 footer, and needed a 21 footer as well to form a "T". 21 footer needed to be picked up later, needed to wait for a new roll to come in as they did not have quite enough. This was on Feb. 14, 2015. New roll came in two weeks later, but was from a different dye lot, so it was a different shade of brown. As the rugs intersect in my great room, the difference was TERRIBLY noticeable. I returned to Menards, concerned. Manager called by carpet department. Immediately remedied the situation by replacing the "first bought" runner with a new one to match the dye lot. The runner had been used for almost two weeks, so it certainly cannot be resold. No worries, they replaced with a smile and wished our dog well. VERY impressed by their customer service. Yes, it cost them the price of a carpet runner. However, the positive internet feedback, and my return business, is much more valuable. A plus, Menards. Highly recommend this store.

The plumbing department told me the pipe would be here a certain day....they confirmed with an email to the vendor and said it would be on a rush order... so I ordered and rented equipment to do the task at hand. Today the pipe didnt show up...nobody could tell me when or where...the app has it staged in Eau Claire...very frustrated with this. I would have ordered somewhere else if they couldnt get it here today. Now Im screwed!!

Straight to the point....their 11% rebate is a SCAM!!!! I have spent thousands here this spring/summer and have yet to see ANY of the supposed rebates that I have mailed in. I ask at the desk and they tell me four to six weeks for the rebate slip to arrive. I think fourth months is a bit excessive of an ongoing wait. Now I drive to Home Depot in Appleton as their "sale price" is what you actually pay.

Love your store and the close proximity to Festival. However, when your employees refer to police as "pigs", it makes me think convenience isnt as important as safety. If you dont respect police, it isnt likely you respect law and order. Hope you have good loss prevention staff.

Great place to shop for all your hardware needs. Great staff and very friendly and knowledgeable. Do not have a Menards in myrtle beach. Wish we did would be a great addition. Thanks to all there that helped.

This store has pretty much everything you could ever need. The store is massive on the inside so be prepared to walk quite a bit.
