I was locked in the garden center yesterday. The store closed & all employees raced out of the parking lot. NO ONE checked the garden area nor made any P.A. announcements nor hollered out there that they were closing! My large Cadillac sat right there for all to see as they left. Apparently no one cared to take notice and come back to let me out. They were prob driving too fast to notice. My arms were full of goods that I had intended on purchasing. I was also interested in some pots & a fountain but they were not priced. No one came out to help me the entire time. I said hello to a girl at the desk on my way in. A man came out there 2 or 3 times. I said hello to him twice. I dont know who he was. I believe an employee. I had left my cell in my car charging. What an experience! I was very frightened. I called today to speak with a Mgr about what happened so this does not happen to anyone else. She sounded young...inexperienced. The ONLY thing she said was, "Im sorry maam." Never asked my name...it remained, "maam." Why has customer service become virtually non existent? Employees in MOST establishments act as though we (the customer) are invading their domain. Intruding on their time. It makes me so very sad. Our society lacks the humanity, care, concern, respect & professionalism we once lived by.

I just helped my mom remodel her kitchen, and got her kitchen cabinets, counter tops, and glass tile from hoods. Everything turned out beautiful and she gets compliments all the time on how great everything goes together. She couldnt be happier with the purchases.

Personally I found some of the stuff over priced, or was damaged. I spent probably 40 minutes in there walking around the entire place and not a SINGLE employee approached me, said anything, or offered to help in any way even when only 3 get away.

Though we found pricing to be a bit above average, the store is well laid out, friendly employees, lots of choices and interesting pieces for inside and outside the home. We will come back again.
