The staff are unhelpful and disorganized, and keen on wasting your time. Spent two hours trying to order appliances and asked the staff to match their discounted price online and they were unable too and unwilling to call a manager over to look at it. I was only asking them to price match THEIR price online in the store! We ended up leaving and ordering online, and wanted when the appliances were delivered did not receive the installation kit for one of the items. I called customer service and was directed to appliances, where no one could accept the call and was assured a call back. Never received a call back so tried again. One of the customer service representatives told me to come by and pick up the kit at no additional charge (as we have already paid for it) and promised a reimbursement. Spent an hour trying to communicate in store because there were apparently no notes on our order with this information and the representative was gone for the day. What a disaster! Will not be doing business with Home Depot in the future.

Had a small bathroom tiling project done by them. Awful. They didnt remove the tile underneath, so it sits well above the other flooring. The whole project was painful. Home Depot works with a subcontractor and the info exchange was painful (they said we were replacing trim - not true, no one ordered the transition piece, so they called me at work to send me out to get one - I am no flooring expert). I was paying them to do it to avoid the hassle, but I wound up spending a lot of time off work dealing with issues. The transition piece cracked - probably b/c the floor sits up so high. Ive been working with them for 7 months to have it repaired and once again, there has been miscommunication with the contractor, and now Im headed back to the store to select the color for the transition piece. It would have been far easier to learn to tile and do it myself. Wouldnt use Home Depot again. Ever.

Disappointed. Waited over 25 minutes at customer service desk to return an item. And while shopping in the store, it seems like they hand out an orange vest - and all of a sudden these people are "experts." Youd be way better off with a home repair book than an "orange vest expert". My experience wasnt nearly as bad as the person in line in front of me. His item had been on back order for months. Three separate times, they called him when it "came in". Each time they claimed it was at the store, he drove in, only to find that the item they had called him about was still out of stock. He was upset - and rightfully so. They called him to come in, he did, and then they were wrong and didnt have his item. Wow! Id look elsewhere, not this Home Depot.

First time in and went in to get info on the flooring deal/special that had posted up on the outside of the building. We walk over by flooring to look and find out info and here 3 employees.. 2 ladies and one guy standing in the main isle between the flooring and kitchen setups just gabbing away doing nothing. They looked over at us waiting to talk to them and they just kept talking. Finally my husband asked if we could get some help. They seemed a bit uninterested in helping. The guy wouldnt even show us anything, he just pointed in the general area of the flooring and didnt have much to say and then turned around and continued talking to the two other female workers. Guess you didnt want our business...

Do not trust their shipping services. Ordered vinyl flooring. Went with them because flooring specialists were friendly and assured me I would get my order before the end of the month. Estimated delivery on receipt was July 22nd. Opted in to the receive text message updates of shipment. They called me to set up delivery for July 29th between 10am and 4pm. Delivery never showed up. Notified them of problem later that day. 5 days later, delivery still hasnt showed up. No text messages updates or attempts to notify me. Home depot needs better coordination with their shipping partners and needs to fix their communication to customers when shipments are not on schedule.

My wife and I came in to find some supplies for a few home projects we were working on. We found what we were looking for quickly without having to wander around searching like we do at Menards. The prices were reasonable too. When we left our car wouldnt start....mind you it was -2 F outside. We walked back in to stay warm and call AAA and were promptly greeted by a friendly employee by the name of DJ. He immediately offered to drive his car over and help give our car a jump. He was extremely friendly and eager to help. A big THANK YOU to DJ. You saved our night and restored my faith in humanity.

For everyday things, its an ok store. As a contractor, its a nightmare to try and get products ordered. Their inventory counts are never right. I get transferred at least 5 times every time I call to order things. Its very frustrating and I would not choose to do business here but the brand of product I need to purchase has a special deal with Home Depot and I am not able to order the product I need for the same price through my typical vendors. Praying for the day the contract they have together is over so I dont need to deal with the disorganization of Home Depot.

If I could rate a zero I would. Home Depot installed carpet and kitchen flooring for me. There are many different levels of coordination that have to be gone through when they install for you. There are people who measure, others who install, others who deliver, others you buy from, others you deal with when you encounter problems, etc. I had problems with about everybody other than the original sales people. I also have had a refund coming for about two months. I still dont have it in spite of two half hour visits to the service desk and numerous phone calls.

Wickedly hard to enjoy. Always out of whatever I am looking for. When they do have it the lane is shut down for stocking. I understand the Home Depot does that for safety reasons. The process of doing this is lost somehow. The shut down the entire lane for 45 minutes prior to stocking whatever? You close it down prior to stocking. Why the long buildup like it is a parade? I see guys shutting the lane down and then stand around talkng like the Masters of the Universe talking about girls asses. What happened Home Depot? You quit trying?

First got blinds and had to call two times just to verify they had the right color I wanted. Then paid for cut to order blinds and then called Jodie who was very rude and short on the phone after being told I was going to get a phone call by installers within 48 hrs. Jodie then said for the customer we went out of our way and ur order should have been custom. Yet the blinds u got were in stock and I paid to have them cut and installed? Ok?!? Long story shirt 1 hr later and 8 phone calls supposed to get a call from the installer....
