Rip off. I used this guy based on a recommendation from a friend; what a mistake. Before he came to do the inspection, I very clearly told him the status of the chimney (non-serviceable) and what we did and did not want to do--he said "no problem". He came to the house, completed and inspection, and charged me. The inspection told me nothing I didnt already know... fine, I was willing to accept this under the assumption that he would be able to help me find a suitable remedy. His suggested remedies were precisely the things I explicitly told him I did not want when I spoke with him on the phone prior to engaging him. He told me hed research it and get back to me. He never called back and only emailed over a month after the initial visit (and after numerous calls from me). In his email, he told me he couldnt help and that I should try someone else. Thanks for nothing.

I had the company come out to my house to look at the problem I had connecting up my wood burning stove to the existing pipes. The owner showed up that day and upon review I found out that the old pipes were not in code and completely wrong for a wood stove. They were a fire hazard and not to be used. I received and estimate in 2 days and had a whole new system put in 2 weeks later. I was very impressed with the quickness and knowledge of the owner and very happy with the work that was done.

Home and Leisure Lifestyles came to my home to inspect my 2 gas fireplaces. They were very professional and answered any questions I had for them. The inspector took his time to explain the way things worked in our fireplaces which was extremely helpful. I would definitely would recommend their services to anyone.
