This whole car buying experience has been a nightmare. I was supposed to pick up my Jeep Liberty on 11/28. My mom was told that the car had no rust on it (which was her primary concern). However, up on arriving, I found rust alongside the driver side door and underneath the weather stripping. I texted Joe (my salesperson) and found out that somehow, my paperwork had gotten "messed up" and I couldnt pick up the car until Monday. Fine, I could deal with that. But then driving it home the same day, I found out that my universal joint was breaking, which would render the car unusuable. I called Joe and the dealership, as did my mother and boyfriend, with no call back from either. (12/2), one of my brake calipers locked up and started glowing, rendering my vehicle useless less than 3 days after bringing it home. While looking at my paperwork, despite repeatedly stating what my warranty was, I looked over my forms again and saw that Joe had me sign the "as is" warranty instead of the 60 day/3,000 mile guarantee as he told me repeatedly (i also have 2 witnesses to him stating this). We have again tried contacting both Joe and the dealership with no response, leaving me without a vehicle for both work and commuting to school. Update: Got a call from one of the owners the morning of December 33rd telling me that they would fix everything. I arranged a time with one of the loaner employees to come with a tow truck and loaner at 12:45. He didnt show up until 3:30, making me 2 hours late to work, and they had apparently planned on trying to fix my car in the driveway to avoid the towing fee. I was supposed to get my jeep back on Dec. 8th and was then told it would be a few more days for reasons that wouldnt be told to me, so I showed up on the 9th to renew my loaner. I waited for 2.5 hours to get my jeep, during which the owner trash talked my mother, trash talked my boyfriend, and disrespected me and my friend. Apparently My calipers and brakes were fixed, although the customer report showed me complaining about the front when I clearly stated to the service department that it was the rear caliper. My jeep was returned with no weather stripping on my doors after they cleaned up the rust that was lied about, and there are scratches all over my vehicle that werent there before. However, I cant prove that and they know it. Now, I am being repeatedly contacted by the owner (Mike) from multiple numbers from him harassing me to take my review down and give them a five star rating. How about NOT. I am at the end of my rope with how unprofessional and rude this man is, would not recommend this dealership, and am looking into further action to make my situation right.

After discovering an internal oil leak in my 16 year old, 207k+ car, it was time to upgrade. After looking around a bit, we came across New England Auto World and one car in particular caught our eye. Now we came from Westchester NY so over an hour drive on a Saturday so after a trek like that the expectation of greatness is almost necessary. We walked in and Anthony came up immediately and took us into his office and we gave him the run down of what we were looking for. He was upfront and forthcoming about the whole process and after a bit of paperwork, we went for a test drive. After (literally) falling in love with the car, we came back, thinking it would be days to maybe even a week before we heard about financing and buying the car. By the time we were back in Anthonys office, we were signing the paperwork necessary to purchase that vehicle. Within a few hours, we had financing set up, the new car was on our insurance with insurance cards in hand and we filled out all of the paperwork for NEAW to get our plates and registration shipped to us as soon as possible (mind you, thats a CT dealership dealing with NY DMV!). All we needed to do was wait a few days for detailing and servicing cause they will not let a car just drive off. 3 days later the car is ours. The detailing was more than we expected (4 brand-new tires, really??) and the courtesy and professionalism from Anthony and everyone al NEAW was just outstanding and way beyond what we were anticipating. I mean, its buying a new car, you expect pressure to buy and massive amounts of paperwork that you need to deal with yourself. These guys did it all and all we had to do was sign our names and shake their hands. So if you made it this far through our long and winding review, then youre dedicated and youre looking for a great all around car buying experience. Grab your GPS, type in 208 Seymour Avenue in Derby, CT and drive cause Anthony and the crew at New England Auto World will make any drive (1-2 hours for us personally) worth every traffic-congested mile.

Wow all these wonderful reviews and I have no choice but to leave a bad one because I am still so upset about my experience today. Sales Manager is to blame for this not the Sales Associate( Tom was awesome and professional, he gets 5 stars). Here we go. We drive tested the car that we liked and just needed a little extra time to talk it over at home and then we wanted to come back and perhaps purchase it. Sales Manager disagreed with our decision and he came to "meet and greet" us which meant verbally attack my husband and I. The ANGRY Sales Manager approached us, and in an accusatory, argumentative, nasty, and pushy style. He implied, among other things, and in an argumentative way, that if we drive tested the car and if the car drove well, then we agreed to make a deal to purchase it. We did not agree to do such a thing before taking it for drive test, that would be stupid. Anyways, we disagreed, didnt want to rush into anything, and wanted a bit more time to think about it. At that point, our interest in purchasing the car from this dealership went from 75% to 0% . This particular Sales Manager needs to keep his anger and his pushy attitude in check. He was angry that we didnt make a deal after we drive tested the car. We were not aware of any policy that states that ," If you drive test the car, you must buy the car". The only thing that this manager should be in charge of is to be in charge of managing his own anger. NOTE TO YOUR DEALERSHIP. Just because I drive test your car, it doesnt mean that I am committing to buy your car. The decision to purchase is my own and I will NEVER buy a car from someone who approaches me with a nasty attitude and who is pressuring me into buying it. And especially someone with anger management issues. My experience was great until I met your unprofessional and pissed off manager who doesnt like to take NO for an answer. He is one and only reason that I am giving you 1 star. Shame on him for publicly humiliating us in front of your employees.
