PROS: The customer service was good & I like the family owned business. They were clean and professional. However the prices - not so much. CONS: I was charged $300 to replace my simple battery. I am obviously not made of money, nor have the best vehicle. I am a young female student. You would think an honest person would suggest a few other alternatives to their cost knowing that it would be 3x what I could do it myself for. Obviously cant do automotive work or I wouldnt be there but I can sure change a battery. That ridiculous price really hurt my finances. I could have just as easily gone to an auto parts store to buy the battery & replaced it myself for free, there has got to be some sort of way to avoid charging $90 an hour labor for a simple, simple thing like changing a battery. I mean yeah know what your time is worth but that was just terrible. I went there in the first place to have their previous work fixed for the second time and mentioned that my car was having trouble starting. I was told it would need a new battery. I asked the guy how much would this cost & he told me between $80 and $100. I thought that was reasonable but he did not mention the labor charge on top of that which I thought was included in the quote I had just received! I definitely felt taken advantage of & they knew it as well but didnt care to say anything or make any other siggestions. Ive changed my battery before plenty of times, but after giving me this "quote" I agreed to it and the work was already done so I paid. Nothing personal but my suggestion guys is to be CLEAR when you quote someone for a simple job like that because if I had been told the real price I would have done it myself. Unfortunately you did lose a customer but hopefully gained some insight into better business practices in order to ensure repeat customers!

This was the best experience I have had with buying a vehicle in my life. They worked with our trade to give us the best possible deal they could. When there was a paperwork problem they ate the cost and in essence lowered our payment. The 2005 van that I bought had an issue with the A/C and sliding side door they fixed it with no questions asked and they are working great right now. They have taken care of all the issues with the vehicle, and I could not be happier. The professionalism, and quality service, and knowlegeable sales staff is the best I have ever met. I will never use a dealership ever again. I will only buy quality used cars, and when I am in the market for another one I will use Barrys Auto Sales.

Took My 07 rav 4 to the dealer because of swaying and noise while driving. Dealer said it was struts so we put new struts on. It didnt make a difference. Took it to Barrys they looked at it and found a bad rear control arm which was a recall that was repaired by toyota. They called toyota and tried to get them to cover it under recall but the dealer told them they only replace it once and that they would have to by a new one. The guy at the counter at Barrys went way out of his way dealing with toyota to get them to cover the part but they wouldnt. Needless to say Barrys changed the part and had the rav4 aligned. OMG!!! what a difference, the car rides great now and feels safe again!!!! Thank your Barrys !!!

We were going to purchase a car from a dealership and we had to wait a few weeks due to personal reasons, by the time we could buy it he had sold it to Barrys automotive who was selling it for almost double the price. When we told him we knew where he got the car and what he paid and asked him to come down a small amount compared to Profit he would still make (trying to make almost 3500 off of a car he paid 4500 for) He laughed in my face and said and I quote "its not my fault I got a good deal and you missed out on it". Stay away from the salesman with the long grey hair, he is not a personable guy he is not kind and I have no idea how he got this job, he was unbelievably rude.

I brought my 2013 pathfinder to Barrys and not only was I treated with the up most respect this is bye far one of the best place for transmission to be fixed . They not only beat the local and national companies for price they have an knowledge staff who went to great lengths to explain the problem to us and what to due I highly recommend them dont go any were else or your going to be sorry. I took an old car to have the transmission checked. They worked on the car checking it, driving it, several times during the day. Turns out that the car was fine. They charged us nothing! This is the fourth time in 25 years weve gone here and Id recommend them to everyone. Very skilled and very honest.
